Drove from CA to Texas and back to buy this trailer. Made a trip out of it and stayed for a while at different parks in Texas. That miles to empty is WITH the 60 gallon tank programmed. I didn’t build my truck obviously for mileage!

Nice. I noticed the 5th wheel pretty clean, no bugs!

Looks clean. Did you order the Arcadia without the decals or did you have the dealership remove them?

Good plan. I hate the decals on my camper and what they've done to the fiberglass underneath them.

Clear Creek RV park, Golden Colorado for the night. We’re about 30 feet from the creek. Not a bad little park. A bit small for a 42’ trailer, but parking sideways made it fit better.

Truck and trailer look great together sir. I am glad the old rig is keeping life fun and interesting.

Free accommodations are nice, but also a bit stressful.
Grand Island Nebraska.

Last night was a cute little place in Kellogg Iowa. It’s attached to Iowa’s Best Burger Cafe on I-80. Can’t say the burger impressed me, but the malt was fantastic!

The truck is running great! Eating up the road with a solid 8+ mpg.

Three nights at the Brown County Reforestation Campground near Green Bay, Wi. It’s attached to the areas zoo. Will be enjoying some time there with the grandkids that live out here.

I've been there, the burgers are ok, but yep the shakes/malts, YUM. A bit of a hassle getting in and out with the long 5th wheel, but overall a nice park, especially considering the interstate is on the left. Did they finish the bridgework yet? It's not far from Brownells in Grinnell.

How are the Skeeters and Ticks up there? We stayed up in Hayward two years ago and they were horrible.

Rockypoint State Park near Belle Fourche SD. 40 mins from home. Love the staycations. Helps on the fuel bill.....

Can't beat $27/night. As long as you bring your own water......

Looks like a nice little spot. Been past there several times, but never really paid much attention since I would have either a load of road oil or fuel coming from Billings going to some point east in SD.

I have only swatted a couple skeeters so far. No ticks yet, but I tend to stay out of the wooded areas.

We didn’t see any bridge work so it’s must be done.

Buy sell question

We thought about selling our rig back in January and backed off . Now we have decided again to sell . Where or how did you sell or buy your rig other than at a dealer? Haven’t decided yet if RV Trader is the best option yet. We may sell both truck and 5thwheel if an offer is made for both . 5thwheel is paid off and truck isn’t. We keep our 5thwheel at our house and it is kept under roof so a consignment lot isn’t very appealing. Here’s what I have , suggestions are appreciated.

I sold our previous 5th wheel using ads on both RV trader and RVT.com. I think RV trader was a little less $$ for the ad and it was the one that the buyer used. It sold pretty quick in early Jan 2020. Only had it listed a couple of weeks. It certainly helped having the 5th wheel paid off as I was able to provide the buyer with the unencumbered title at sale.
