Looks like a similar brake system I had put on. We did a cross country trip right after the instal and it was great! Tested it on a rock slide into our lane on a two lane mountain road. All ended well. Arctic Fox 27-5L and F450
[QUOTE=CCBennett_1;18205366]Thanks GeorgeS59. I love my Platinum as well. Saved for a long LONG time to afford it and I'm impressed with it every day. We also love the 5th wheel however I do need to invest some $$$ to better prepare for Boon
Yes, they are nice trucks . The wife and I don't see ourselves doing any boondocking, so nothing really to do with our trailer but to just enjoy it. Safe travels....
Nice 27-5L. I'm looking for one. The MORryde and the brakes are on my radar. What brand brakes? Any other mods?
I have been doing mods since we brought it home. I was working and had small amounts of time to mod but not enough time to go anywhere for about a year. Added several USB ports, switch changes, kitchen drawer and latch changes, solar panels, new battery location for AGM cells, 2000 watt clean sine inverter, front bike rack, wind retract for awning, and many more. It has become a hobby with several of us. PM me if you want to know more. The 27-5L is a great platform for mods or to use as is OEM.
The brake parts are from Performance Brake. Nice system. I had their installers instal it for me. I just wanted it done once and not make a mistake. I also put on 7k axles and springs while I was at it.
I do see nice used units once in a while. Good luck!!

Next upgrade is to remove that ugly blue oval and add a solitude badge; OR vice versa.
Your truck (and 5th) looks good.
Thanks!! Just got back from a trip to Natchitoches, La. to see the Christmas lights and fireworks show. Ended up with our two daughters and the grandkids also.
