After previously butting into this thread a couple months ago with a picture that didn't actually involve a 5th wheel at all, I can finally properly contribute to the topic! Just picked up our 2021 Reflection 290bh. Besides camp-driveway, our first outing planned is our "mini-moon" in Shenandoah National Park for a few days on October 4th.
Hello sir I see that your 5th wheel is sitting way back I wanted to ask what kind of hitch are you using, this is a very nice setup?
I finally pulled the trigger and got the truck and trailer that I've been wanting for a few years. Went from a 17 F250 short bed gasser to a 20 F350 long bed dually diesel. Already planning some trips up into the mountains. No doubt this truck wont have any issues.

That is a very nice setup and congrats, I can't see on my phone but what model Reflection is that you want have any problem towing that in the Mountains?

Great looking combo. I'm sure you will love the truck and the 303RLS!
You are going to love your Reflection.
I have a 2020 337RLS, and we just think its great.
Grand design builds an excellent trailer, and we have had zero issues with ours.

I'm using a Pullrite Superglide (with the turning point pinbox locked in place). Didn't need such a big/heavy hitch but when my parents got rid of their 5th wheel a few years ago they gave me the hitch knowing I eventually planned on having one.
Just got back from our first actual trip with the Reflection 290BH and loved it. A quick "minimoon" to Shenandoah National Park since we don't have a lot of time to travel now. But our big plans are for a 5-6 week road trip next year after she finishes NP school. Couple pictures from my quick stay out of cell phone range this week with my bride and pup. Always love the hiking up there and the weather was perfect for us.
*edit: I didn't mention it originally, but I will note that yes, the 6.2L with 3.73's was DEFINITELY feeling it pulling up the hills getting into the mountains. To its credit though, it had been a very long day (day after the nuptials), we were getting in way later than I planned, and was pushing it way harder than I should have been. However, on the return trip, I was feeling much more patient, tried the manual mode as suggested on the FTE forum, and had a much more pleasant experience. It may not be the monster tow pig that some others are, but overall I'm very happy with the truck. Drinks gas like it's shooting out of a garden hose but that's just the cost of doing business.
