Hey Don, we looked at that same Solitude and almost bought it. Just couldn't get the deal we wanted otherwise we would of had that same one. do you have the residential fridge? If so, a genny too?

We have the 18 cubic ft. Norcold RV type. Had a Cummins/Onan 5500 gas generator in our previous toyhauler type camper. Used it not enough to justify the price in the camper we have now. We bought this camper off the dealer's lot. Options are king bed...rear AC with heat pump..slide toppers. Wife likes the extra living space of the conventional 5th wheel's so that's what we bought.
We did the exact same thing! We had a Fuzion 43' toy hauler and no real toys. Just an extra place to put junk. We really like the extra living area. I may go onboard genny. Mine is prepped for it, but not installed. We'll see.....

If possible, opt for the fuel injected version. No more fooling around with altitude adjustments.

We had the 371 Fuzion at 39'. Needed a 3rd AC in the living area...had 1 in the front bedroom and 1 in the garage and living area would stay warm in the summer. Cable slides always needed adjusting and with no slide covers rain would get in the camper due to bad seals. Last straw was when it got infested with Asian Ladybugs that we couldn't get rid of...they were in the walls and everywhere.
Took the camper in for roof seal replacment. Hoping nothing else fails, the dealer has either had it or been waiting for parts about half the time Ive had it so far

UGH! Yeah good ole Keystone products. Most of your issues were shared by us too. Ware bar on living room slide always sticky. Had to continually spray the bottom of the slide with lube. Cable/pully system had issues. Living area hot in ours too. AC units were noisy as hell. Couldn't sleep with the air on in the bedroom. Could never keep it from rockin around while camping. Had to put manual jacks in front and behind the axles. We were sooooo happy to get our Pinnacle. Out with the old!
Nice looking Impact you had. Toyhaulers are great for people that need the garage but losing 11' of living space in our Fuzion made for cramped living. We do miss the 1/2 bath and the generator but overall we like the living area with large windows when parked at a scenic spot that the conventional 5th wheel offers. Getting ready to go and grease my hitch in the truck and hook up later to take the camper in for a recall tomorrow. Shop I found is an authorized Grand Design service center and only 15 miles away compared to the dealer that's 80 miles each way. Local shop techs are heads and tails better then the dealers also. We had some rain last night and temps dipped into the 40's so we're finally getting hit by winter. Windy and damp so I'll bundle up these old bones!!
