It's beautiful! You will get lots and lots of enjoyment out of that rig. We're going with the 350 dually, and our trailer will be 40' as well. BEAUTIFUL!!
2000 Gulfstream Yellowstone XL 34' 5th wheel. Picked this up 2 years ago from Dad for $9k, still had new sticker on certain parts of the interior, that's how good the condition was, always garaged. The carpet was pretty trashed after 5 months living in this full time on the Texas Gulf this past winter. Preparing it for our next Texas adventure this winter when not at our home on Flathead Lake MT.
I upgraded the flooring and repainted the interior. Still waiting on new shades (backorder)
Thanks guys, 1 day for tear out, and it, took 2 days for 170 sq feet, about 4 hours per day as I'm 60 and the body doesnt cooperate with my young mind.
It is SmartCore vinyl plank, lock in place, foam backed, from Lowes. Free floating except on the edge of the slide (liquid nails) and around the door area. Cut with a razor knife and break.
3/4 " flexible molding (Amazon)
I used Kilz paint on the wall paper followed up by 2 coats of off white interior paint.
I'll do the bedroom either this fall or next year.
Nice touch getting the new flooring on both the main floor and the slide-out floor.
important note, make sure you have clearance on that slide coming in, I measured twice, my space gap had .100 between the thickness of the vinyl plank and the slide. I've heard horror stories of folks with too thick of plank and bringing the slide in tore it up.
I tested it with the first row laid twice before continuing as well.
Hey Kdawg, that's quite a set-up! I'm curious, which Astoria model is your trailer, and how long is your bike trailer? We're going to probably be doing the exact same thing- fifth wheel, buggy trailer behind. Nice rig!!
Thanks! It is a 2019 Astoria 3273MBF, the bike trailer has a 20ft deck with overall length at ~23 ft. Overall it is quite long, but other than technically being over limit it pull extremely well and and the police don't give me any trouble.
