Here's my Modest rig. First 5th wheel that we inherited from my Wife's Grandpa. Its got major delamination at all corners. Some day I'll get a nicer rig that matches the truck, but for now this will do.

Delamination sucks. Been there, done that, still have the epoxy scabs.
If you don't deal with the delamination at the front, it's possible that one day you'll be going down the road and you'll see the fiberglass wall flapping in the wind. That's what happened to me. It was a perfect storm. Delamination along with the factory cutting the fiberglass a bit short so the corner molding didn't cover it enough. We were on our way to the Grand Tetons when it happened. Duct tape to the rescue.

Thats actually my biggest fear, well, that and the water damage beneath the delamination. The walls are spongy at the corners inside the camper too. I'm afraid when I go to upgrade, no RV dealer will even entertain a trade on it. This rig isnt fiberglass though, its that rubber vinyl type stuff. Just means its even more cheaply built.
Did you re epoxy seal your rig yourself?
I see Azdel advertised on some of the newer 5th wheels; that stuff sounds like it would be great since there isnt a wood panel backing to rot.

Yes, I relaminated it myself, with help from some friends. Azdel sounds like an ideal backing material, and it is. The only downside is that without the delamination, you don't know that you have a leak.
