Round 2: Now what
so over the weekend, i drove 400 miles through the rain and my throttle pedal did not die once. Yesterday, i get 2 miles into my commute to work in the rain and my throttle pedal died and it took like 30 restarts to get it going again..for it to die a mile later.
I got the idea today in the driveway, to spray the drivers fender well with water and see what happened. I was able to get it to die twice, spraying in the exact same area
that then prompted me to remove the fender liner and inspect, which i actually did find a wire that was corroded and entirely broken...but that did not seem to have an impact on anything as it still operated fine. either way, i fixed that and i took apart every connector i saw and cleaned/filled with dielectric grease. i then sprayed it with water with the fender liner out, and couldnt get it to die (this was before i fixed that wire)

i did some testing based off these charts i found on Alldata...and im not really sure if my testing is right or not...

although AG13 refers to the P2139 and P2140 codes i have, i went through the other tests as well... AG10 i tested each APP circuit between ground..and 1 and 2 both had 0 volts, and APP 3 had 7.3 volts. which then it says to find the short to voltage and fix..
AG12 i got like .3 and .7 ohms...which says to replace PCM
im not really sure where to go from here, or if even any of my testing was accurate. i just find it so strange i was able to drive 400 miles in rain the entire time without issue, then i drive 2 miles and have an issue. and then i can spray it with water and it dies...

Pics or it didn't happen LOL , I guess that's one way to keep it running
