no throttle
it is 10 below 0 outside I had to take kids to school, they missed the buss. forgot to plug in truck tried to start it, it started then i tried to press the gas pedal. no reaction so i shut the engine off and wrote yo you all. I did not waite for it to warm up, only idled 1 minute, I shut it off. why no gas pedal???step to floor does nothing.

I really hate to even say this. But one of our trucks that we use on the job had what sounds like identical problem. Give it pedel and nothing happened. We let it warm up"idel" for 12 hours and still nothing. This truck had been plugged in during a big wind and snow storm, actually a 72 hr whie out. Under the hood was packed with snow! We had to have it towed in to the shop where it was diagnosed as having fouled injectors. By the way I'm located 150 miles above the arctic circle in Alaska, when the temp drops to -30 or colder we leave the trucks running 24/7.

The computer won't allow you to accelerate until there is sufficient oil pressure and temperature to do so. Think of it as a nice engine durability safeguard.
Next time just let it warm up for a couple minutes and you should be fine.
