Well I got half of my order last night in the mail from Duraflap. Just the backs came in. The front ones with the custom sail weights are on backorder due to them having a lack of a goat head cut into a front set of weights. Now before I show you all the picture of my back set I need to explain myself. I came by my handle of goatram do to my goats that I raise and the 2005 Dodge Ram 3500 SRW that I used to own. There are a bunch of Johns in the USA not a lot of guys that go by goat or ram as their name. I am a ornery old billy goat on some of the forums I hang out on.
Since the flaps are custom they installed my name on them. I do not have any dimples where the studs attach to the SS weights. I can see if the nuts were over torqued that would be a issue. They bolted right up and done in 45 minutes from the time I started to gather up the tools. I do need to find the time to install the new old shocks removed from the old SRW along with the overload spring pack set.
Were you at Camp SLO or Camp Roberts?
I work at Roberts now, Army AGR, CW3.

LOL, neither one: Spent 6 mo in Ca driving every state hiway, many county hiway.
Big joint operation took place in summer of '85 IIRC, USMC, Army, Navy, AF, CG. Lots of material to be moved across hiways and bridges. M1 Tank weighs 62 Tons, plus the hauler. Had to find bridges too narrow and too weak to drive over so the military could bypass. IIRC the Ops concluded at Camp Roberts.
I was the only single Major in the office at I Corp Ft Lewis G 3 so I got the TDY. Civy clothes, rental car and I have driven every piece of hiway between Sacramento and LA, from the coast to the E border. I also had to coord with Army Corp of Engineers and USAR/NG units in the AO.
Sure wish I had had my Dually and my Camper for the trip.
All of these photos kind of cause me to be embarrassed of how absolutely filthy my truck is. Guess it's time to wash things up.
lol, when I bought my truck they said they would give me free car washes for life. When I took the truck in for its first service I asked for my free car wash. They asked me when I picked it up to not let it get so dirty before I bring it in again. I didn't tell them I had washed it just the week before.
