Am I only guy who bought the Stainless bumper step?

I look everyday, but never seen anyone else buy this little aftermarket gem! It fits onto the plastic bumper step! Very inexpensive! I like how it reflects.

I also added "led accents" on bottom of the headlamps. Both I got from Putco. I must of been a fish in former life. I love shiny things! Lol

NO interferance problems with the B&W hitch and the toolbox.
Looks great but mine was 39", my toolbox is 15" deep that's why I do not care for the fuel/toolbox combos they have no toolbox room.

No mods yet other than the 5th Wheel hitch, went with B&W again, I like their products.

More mods to follow.

Mark, I am just about ready to order my truck. I am torn between the f450 and the f350 wide front and 4:30's. How are you liking the 4:30's and the wide front end? I am going to order a white KR. Any input that you would share with me would be greatly appreciated.
That is one awesome ride that you have.
Thanks, Barney

Good luck with your choice...

I don't know what you're dragging, but I haven't heard anyone with a 2014 or later PSD and 3.73's say that they wished they got the 4.30 gears... Maybe with the taller 19.5" wheel / tire combo it would make a difference..

The turning radius of my truck is a LOT tighter than it was with my 99 SD 4x4.. So I'm not sure I would have gained anything that I would have really needed by going with the wide front.

I am going to be towing a 34' gooseneck flat bed with two 15k axles. The trailer will weigh 8,000# and I will be hauling engines that weigh up to 20k. I am not getting a chassis cab due to the lower hp and torque. I have been in the heavy haul business for 34 years, gross weight of up to 250,000#'s, I am 62 years old now and it is time to downsize. Not ready to retire for a few more years. But when I do, I will be ready for the traveling for fun.
Getting old is not for the weak and dammit man I'm getting weak.
Thanks for the replies.

I really am open to either, but really would go for which ever had the most comfortable seats. I don't want a sun roof for sure and I was told that the Platinum come with it. I am open for suggestions for sure.
Barn.

I had a 2011 with 3.73 gears and now have 2015 with the 4.30 gears. I wish I had the 3.73 gears. The only difference I can tell between the two trucks is the drastic drop in fuel mileage.

What kind of fuel mileage are you getting loaded and empty? Do you have the f350 or f450?

I have the 350 with the high capacity trailer towing package. Pulling my fiver with the 2011 I got 10.62 mpg going to Disney World. With the 2015, same trip, same speeds, 7.75 mpg. Both trucks pulled the hills the same. Empty the 2011 averaged 15.87 and the 2015 is doing 13.82. The only benefit has been the tighter turning radius but it is not enough of an advantage to make it worth while.

I just reread you post, looks like you already answered my question.
How much does your 5er weigh?
