Most full floating manufacturers recomend pre packing the wheel bearings with greese. This is so they have lube untill oil from the diff gets there. Most of the time the oil level in the diff is lower than the axle rubes so it's "splash" oil that goes down the tubes and it takes a while to get there.
insted of packing the wheel bearings some poeple will jack each side of the axle till oil rus into the wheel bearing housings.
So how's everbody truck running? Everbody doing ok?

Last month a bought a 2005 Excursion for my RV pulling duties. Its in great shape without a speck of rust anywhere. I found it in Maryland with the reliable V10 with only 115,000 miles.
So that's the latest, I have been hanging around in the Excursion forum, getting ready for spring to do some upgrades.
