Let's see, last night I replaced my low profile across the bed tool box with my taller/larger across the bed tool box. Now I need to raise my 5th wheel hitch one bolt hole higher for clearance on tight turns (I think).
Then I'm in a holding pattern waiting on parts. Blapensee made me up a High Idle wire harness which I figure will be in todays mail. So I will get around to that either today or tomorrow I hope. My Bodiak front receiver hitch is sitting at the Mesquite UPS location waiting for delivery on Monday. Would love to wash this dirty beast, but the warmth of the sun just ain't going to be there today for that.
Blapensee really impresses me with all the stuff he does. Quite a talented guy.
Sounds like you will busy as soon as all of the materials show up.
Certainly not me yet! Mine looked like yours 3 days ago but melted off. I'm sick of these old temps and snow, finally managed to bury my truck today. Was pretty aggravated and didn't grab a pic, can't say an SRW would have fared better, the melt/freeze/snow/freeze left a thick layer of ice under the snow. Took about 2 hours to get the beast out. I'm officially ready for warm weather. Did pay the new fiver a visit, 2 more weeks!
Here's my 2014 Platinum DRW. I upgraded from a 2011 SRW 6.2 F250. The 6.2 pulled camper pretty well but i was over weight. The 6.7 pulls effortlessly and makes for a much more comfortable towing experience.

Nice rig you have there! Your experience with the 6.2 was exactly The same as mine! Had a '11 F250, 6.2 gasser, but needed a dually and went with the 6.7 PSD, and yes, it pulls my trailers pretty much effortlessly!
Steve that does take dedication to get that much salt and sludge off our trucks.. Hopefully you had a power washer to assist!

Have you thought of putting a receiver-hitch on the rear of the trailer and a rack back there?

I used a hitch on thd back of my travel trailer for a few years with no issues. I just feel more comfortable with the bikes up front so I can keep an eye on them. They really dont bother me at all.
I hear it's hot up in Alaska this winter, all Dak's fault
I put HID's i my truck when I got it a yr and a half ago. Still working fine. More light than stock bulbs. I rarely get flashed at. They are the movable bulbs so give me HID hi/lo.

I built a pin box receiver on mine and carry the bikes up behind the cab in the rear view mirror. I can see them and they are up and out of the way.
What is it about these Dually trucks that make you want to drive them every time you do something new and different to them.
Saturday I changed over to my larger across the bed tool box and right away I wanted to take it for a drive to see how it handled.
Saturday, I changed the ride height on my 5th wheel hitch up one inch. And right away I wanted to drive the truck to see how different it felt.....and the hitch wasn't even installed in the bed of the truck.
Sunday I added the high idle mod. And yet again I wanted to take the truck for a drive. Keep in mind that you can't use the high idle mod unless sitting still in park with the emergence brake set.
Maybe it's more cabin fever at this point, or could be I just like driving this truck. After all, Duallys do it Better.......Right?
