Sorry to see that happened. Did you have that same radiator in there before this round of upgrades or was this the first trip out with this combination of parts? I'm just curious what could have caused this little incident to occur now. I guess better now than on the way to RRE or something!
Yep, definitely leaked after it got hit, Front of truck got a nice shower.

I installed radiator last summer, with that fan. Didnt have an issue with it before. But I think a combination of the extra ponies, as well as a bit of bucking up near the rev limiter when a couple bubbles of air were going through caused enough movement to do it.
That sucks man. If it was just one or two cores (which it appears to be), a good radiator shop may be able to just crimp off and seal those couple cores and then you'd be good to go. You never know until you take it in and let them look it over.
Well talked with a radiator specific repair shop this morning. They are about an hour away, so I sent them a bunch of pictures so see if the figure they could fic it. Guy thinks hes 90% certain they can sort it out. So running it in after work today and hopefully it can be patched up.
JB weld, and aluminum foil with more JB weld covering the edges of the AL will get you down the road for a little bit. A mechanic buddy of mine told me that trick. That's as long as it's not leaking through the fins I guess.
Yes, Im really looking for a permanent fix. Radiators are something I dont carry a spare of, so if the shop isnt going to guarantee if 99.99 percent, I'de sooner put the stocker back in or pony up for a new one.
Quick request guys:
I put projectors in this truck with some housings I thought would be super nice based on some previous reading. Long story short, I'm wanting to go back to stock style lights. I dont know why but I just prefer to look of the stock setup on these trucks. I had to trim the stock headlight chrome bezel piece to get the one-piece upper housings in. So now I need some stock replacements to go back. Does any one have some extras kicking around? I dont want poorly fitting LMC stuff, but if someone has a pair of Ford pieces around, I'de rather buy from someone on here than new from ford. Thanks guys!
