Today would have been great for a bike ride. Just sit down and get lost on a nice country road. I sold my bike years ago when my son Tim was little. He's 20 now.... I think he owes me a nice street bike.
James, doesn't that truck run a steering stabilizer? I've only experienced 'death wobble' a couple of times, in the heep which was fixed with a new stabilizer shock. The 350 just got a new gear box and all new joints in the front end when I had the heads off.
I put another new MAP sensor on it yesterday and it sounds a lot better now. Next is finishing off the steering replacement with a rag joint, then brakes.
I also pulled the bed off this past weekend, to get access to the fuel tanks. See if I can maybe get both of them working again.
Dad has been eye balling a guys Electra glide alot at church. Then mentioned he had looked at a new ultra classic but that it was $35,000. I got his attention when I showed him a 2015 vulcan voyager for $17,399.
The 250 is still on jack stands but the wheels went back on yesterday. New booster, new rotors and pads( was fun getting the rotors and hubs separated), cleaned and repacked bearings, new seals, new rubber brake lines( my ball joints and tie rod ends are good). Had the trans cooler thermostat mounted but decided I didn't want to reroute all my trans cooler lines. Going to mount thermostat to frame and have someone cut the steel lines, bend and flare to accept short rubber lines. Drained, flushed, and refilled cooling system. New lower rad hose.
The still to do list:
Since I think the two glow plugs under the turbo have never been change, they are the ones that are burnt out. 8 new glow plugs, new Banks down pipe, body mounts and check rear brakes.
I should be ready to eat BBQ by June......
Thanks Benz, I like it. Will get some lights on it soon but good ones are $$$$$$$$$$$$$
I took my wheels off yesterday and put 11oz of .25 gram airsoft BBs in them. Could not get them to seat back on the wheels. Tried every trick I knew except ether. Gotta take them to tire store this AM to get them seated.
I am going to pick up my M1101 trailer today as well. Going to make an expedition/camping trailer out of it. Looks like this

Nice trailer. Back in the day our motor transport unit at Cherry Point would throw a beer party once a year. A trailer like that was filled with ice and beer, and towed out into the woods on base where they had an open area with picnic tables. Good old MABS-14...
Went threw yesterday and cranked the diesel (95 f350 with around 376xxx miles) it had 2 dead batteries from not being started in about a month an half. Once I got it cranked I decided to drive it to town get it some fresh fuel and some run time.
Also decided to wake the sleeping beast, the 77 took a bit of convincing to get cranked. Both batteries in it are shot aswell, and it hasn't been ran since November. But once I finally got that old 429 to bust off I woke the neighborhood with it talking out them headers.
I've spent the last week working on a computer till the wee hours of the morning, designing that circuit board to control my strobe lights and other such items. Got everything mapped out, gotta go through and edit it all.
Had a ridiculous weekend at the Buckhorn Flea Market, Sunday must have been National Buckhorn Day or something. We actually shut down both entrances and didn't let anyone in for almost an hour. Friggin' retards started parking on the side of Buckhorn Rd. I called Orange County and Highway Patrol hoping they would come haul 'em off (if you had seen the traffic jam these idiots caused you would understand my a-hole-ish-ness), to which the trooper that showed up decided to be a lazy turd and "let it slide". He didn't know what to say when I told him I had only called them so they would tow some cars, and then subsequently offered to get two tow truck companies down there to do it lol.
I've always liked messing with electricity, so finally learning enough and understanding enough to actually design my own circuit board has been pretty addicting. I pretty much am just modifying someone else's design to suit my needs, so I still don't fully understand Integrated Circuits, but I know more now than I did last week lol

Pony,
I haven't heard of filling the Tires with BB's what was the idea behind that?
Balancing Beads have been around a long time. We used the a lot at the truck shop, the brand we used is called "Equal". Super fine small pellets, the amount that is used depends on the size/weight of the tire.
After the tires RPM was built up, the pellets would go to the light spot using centrifugal force to place and hold them there.
