Took an old towel and ripped it in 6" wide strips, wrapped each one and secured with a zip tie. They sell little covers at Lowes, but every time I think about them I have already done the towel thing LOL
I don't keep them wrapped up all winter, it usually is not cold enough for long enough to matter. I always leave the hoses disconnected though and I drain them out in case I need to use one. I have planned to run a hot water outside faucet beside my garage for years but have never gotten around to it. When I need hot water in a hose now I hook it straight to the hot water heater in the garage.
G'Mornen fellers!
Down to 24 hours & 45 minutes until my next doctor appointment to take this cast off. I haven't been able to bend my wrist or wash it for 6 weeks now.
It's nice to have the temperature above freezing, even though it's raining now.
Spent the day with another club that I'm in (Christmas Carolina) yeah I know but it help me keep out of trouble. Brought home another 3K plus lights! I'm near that 10,000 number that I wanted to hit for this next years display. Maybe I should just go for 15K
Well they bombed the weather for yesterday, atleast in Eastern NC. Was supposed to rain all day, it quit raining about 6 am and didn't start back tell about 8 last night. That worked out great so we could get the bike out and cruise to church. I was also able to rotate tires on my truck, and man they are getting pretty slick. Looks like today is gonna be a complete rain out though, it hasn't quit raining since last night at 8.

Your right about that! They sure called that one wrong here as well. I spent the day out side, doing odd jobs around the yard, then brewed a beer in the evening. But what happened to the temperature today?
I was down in Rutherfordton working today, when I left at 1630 it was 52* and but he time I got home to South Asheville at 1745 it was 32* and a few flakes flying. WTF? And now snow tomorrow, Wednesday and Thursday? I never thought I'd say this, but I'm ready for spring to start.
Left the house at 0500, not snowing, as I cam onto cherry point about 0545 it was starting to fall. Now I'm setting in it pumping fuel tanks out and snow keeps starting/stopping.
Looks like I'm not gonna get much done in the yard today. I was thinking about doing the open Mic night again tonight, but I guess we shall see how it unfolds.
