Yeah, I'm dreading it. We owe money every year, I really don't remember the last time we seen a refund.
Sunny and pretty out. Been snagging more Christmas lights, and artificial trees for this next years light show. I think we have hit our goal of 10k lights
I normally get 3-500 back. Last year was the first time I filled as married and noticed it went down to around 200. (Married 7/28/13) didn't realize how my wife had her deductions setup and I ended up owing bout $500 this year.
I can't even file till I can get GE to send me another 1099R for my pension. The great USPS cut the first one in half and lost one half... Sent me the damaged mail in a big white envelope that said "we care", and we are sorry for any inconvenience....

Yeah......sounds like they really care
G'Mornen everybody, coffee is going down nicely, and checking on craigslist, seeing what goodies I have to have.
I'm looking for a large bookcase so we can get dvd's and cd's out of box's from our move in September. Also looking for an overhead projector. Found a few but some are more money than I want to kill on one since I'll only use it a couple of times.
Coffee refill
We got all of our stuff now. I guess I will break out the Turbo tax and get cracking this week. We usually get back a grand or so, it took a while to get our W4s right so we are pretty close on refund to zero refund.
I don't like letting those effers use my money for free all year.
I use to be into baseball when I was younger and played, now I couldn't care less. I think it's ridiculous that they make millions a year defending a ball but the military defending our country makes 30k a year if they are lucky. I guess to same could be said about actors to though.
I share the same thought about the money that is spent, and made also.
And I do like me some wrestling I signed up for the WWE streaming when it came out, still have it. Those pay per views are like $60 each, and I can watch all of them, from the beginning, to current and live for $10, oh yeah, I'm in

Yeah, I don't watch any of the sports. Used to watch baseball when I was playing it as a kid...Used to watch tennis when I was playing it...Now I'm just like meh...lol I watched Back to the Future and Part 2 while the super bowl was on..lol

I do enjoy watching some wrestling though.
I only watch NFL football. Don't care for any other sports. I used to be a NASCAR far, my employer paid full boogie for any of us that wanted to go. Went to every track withing driving distance. Saturday and Sunday races, pit passes, GM courtesy tent dining. After a while you just get burned out on it.
About the military. Put cameras on their heads and get some network to broadcast some firefights and door kicking and some sponsors and you could see the same kind of ratings and money. Never happen, but it's the only way to compare the two.
