Happy new year!

I've had a good evening listening to blue grass and working in the shop. Put a new cat back exhaust on the daily driver. Sounds good for an import, replaced a couple of bars on my old saws, and got around to cranking up the old truck! That air density system certainly likes this humidity. It's been idling off four year old gas for around 30 minutes now.

Bob, good luck with getting your truck back, after getting that electric guitar back from selling on craigslist, I'm sure if anyone can do it, it'll be you. It looks like it may need a paint job though. If your thinking of doing it, your more than welcome to use the shop, the only thing that I don't have in here is a dryer for the air system. Also, I've been going out to an open mic on Tuesdays, if your interested in playing for a crowd. It's in Cary.

Like to see how the wheels turn out, I need a good idea to replace the spray on the wheels on the old truck, rattle can just scratches right off.

Hey Josh, thought you'd forgotten about us.
My deal with getting Ka'Bluey is a done deal. My buddy that has him now actually offered to let me bring him back here while we were in Missouri for a funeral just before Christmas. But I'm not comfortable with that, so he's storing him until we get him paid off. Should have him here by late summer at the latest.
When I sold Ka'Bluey, 90% of the body work was finished. I'd been working on it for months, there wasn't a rust spot that I didn't cut out, and not a ding in it. So yup it needs paint, may take you up on using the shop to paint. I'll bring the cold ones.
Far as playing in an open mic, I really doubt it, but if you wanna get together with some guitars, I'm all for it.

Y'all behave, I have a doctors appointment this morning to see about "Reconstructive" thumb joint surgery for the Arthritis that has been in there for years. CMC Arthroplasty?!

More Surgery

Had another doctors appointment this morning about the huge ball of arthritis that I have at the base of my right thumb.
Another surgery, lucky me. The procedure is called CMC Arthroplasty. Basically reconstructing that joint from a tendon that they'll cut out from my arm.
Fun, Fun, Fun

Sounds great about the truck Bob. Sounds crappy about the surgery. Hope it goes well. Food looks delish.

Josh, remember us when you make it to the big time. Cool that you are performing at an open mic. Let us know when your next gig is and well try to stop by and check it out.

Yall have a good week.

Thanks on all of the above buddy! Yeah I can't wait to have Ka'Bluey backin my possession. Need to find a place to go play in the mud
I'm ready for my wrist to feel like it used too. A couple day's on pain meds, after that it shouldn't be too bad.
Can't beat some Baby Back Ribs right out of the smoker, and a good batch of beans.
And some cold refreshments while I'm babysitting food outside

Buddy I know a little bit about going "Stir Crazy". I've been off work for about 6 years with a buggared up lower back.

I DO, understand.

I hear ya!

Plan on taking off the front tire tomorrow since I bought a set, and I've got time waiting on my rear to come back in. Be nice to start with a fresh set of tires since I'm 99.9% sure the front is the original. It's the kind of Bridgestone they use, it's starting to get worn down and the bike is now setting at ~15500 miles.
