No TPS means no go. If Torque saw it before, it should see it again. Sometimes Torque, the operating system, your device, or the OBDII adapter has a hiccup - and strange things will happen with one gauge. That TPS looks like a "stock" configuration, so nothing to go wrong with programming. Have you tried removing the gauge and adding it again? Rebooting your device? Rebooting the OBDII adapter?

Since I wouldn't have discovered this from the display on the dash (after all - ignorance is bliss), I'm not sure how excited I am. Once I replace the alternator, I'll take the relatively new Costco batters back to Costco for testing. As was suggested in another recent thread, I'll also check my ground connections.

I also noticed that I lost accelerator pedal position on my Torque display when I set the cruise control. Makes sense, doesn't it??? Well, the real problem is that I no longer get a reading for accelerator pedal position at all. My settings for accelerator pedal position are as follows:

I will try deleting and adding the gauge. Not sure how to reboot an OBD adapter - it just plugs in.

Unplugging and re-plugging is a reboot.

As for the PID question - the definition posted looks like a valid PID, but I've never tried it.

Any reason that this Pid would kill the engine when its added? I've added it, deleted it 3x and it kills the engine everytime it on myscreen, also i can't read dcts without it killing the engine either. Koeo read fault codes sets the ck engine light and reports back no faults when there are faults stored. ??

**I use this max to watch idle in gear. Torque Converter will not lock until Transmission Temp exceeds about 50 - 60 degrees F, you are in Drive, and moving at least 35 MPH (Torque Converter Lock Up - depending on your tune and conditions).

I always knew this PID was not right, but it worked good enough for its purpose. I used a little engine logic on the formula and compared the readings with AE - this is the one.

I've been using the TC Slip with those settings for quite a while now, with no issues.

There was a time when Engine Oil Temperature would make Stinky freak out. I ultimately uninstalled Torque, did an OS update, then installed the latest Torque and reconfigured all my gauges from scratch. I never had another problem since then. I also went into the settings and selected the option to not send commands to the truck. If I ever need to have Torque send a command, I can flip that switch - but I don't want Torque doing anything but listening to the truck on my daily drives.

Can torque just be updated? I've had mine for awhile, version 1.8.10
When you uninstalled and reinstalled was it another $5 pop.
No issues with mine, just curious as I dont see an update option...

If you uninstall, it still shows you paid for it, and you can download and reinstall without paying again. You should get update notifications if your version isn't current, but version 1.8.46 is the current release.

Does anyone use the average MPG with Torque? I use instantaneous MPG with mine (which seems to be pretty accurate), but the average seems to only calculate the moving average. Does anyone know if it can be changed to include idling to make it more accurate?
Torque is great, but it's taking me a while to get it figured out!

P.s. I can't get my exhaust gauge pressure or my baro gauge to work. I have a 2013 Nexus 7 and I don't think it has a barometer built in. Could that be the problem?

If the device doesn't have a baro sensor, you'll need to use the baro data from the PCM. I think it's better to do it that way anyhow, since that's what the PCM uses for all its calculations. Try this and see if you get a reading:

I wouldn't chase that dragon unless you had issues. The only thing that can be done is replace the EBP sensor, and I can't see doing it for being off negative 1 PSI. It can't hurt to puff up the EBP sensor with a known air pressure (no more than 35 PSI) and watch the resulting reading. I've taken a sensor out, connected it to the cable, turned the key on to connect to Torque, and used an air compressor with a regulator to test a sensor before - it works well.

Bad EBP sensors are usually biased with a higher reading than MAP and BARO. It sounds like your versions of Torque and Android don't like the combination for EGP. I had to reload Torque and manually configure all my gauges to correct a similar problem, making sure I disabled Torque's ability to send commands to the truck.

Settings/Plugins/Allow plugins full access is not checked.
I also tell Torque to not calculate MPG. I don't want Torque to spin its wheels on something that I'll figure out at fill-up.
