I have no idea of the OS but I checked and it is up to date. The BT adapter is the el cheapo ELM one. It has worked well and I have noticed no hiccups with it since I have been using it well over a year. Again after I tried it on the cold truck, 44 ambient temp, EOT reads 8/trans temp is 44. I have again uninstalled the app but am wondering where the device store the vehicle profile? After I uninstalled it yesterday I still had my F250 profile and want to get rid of it all for a complete fresh start.

You need a file explorer app on your device to find it. Going off memory, I think you start in the "/0" directory and work your way down to Torque. When plugged into my laptop via USB, the laptop has access to a few folders. I copy my Torque folders to one of those shared locations, then I pull it into the laptop for manual editing and returning to the Android, or for backup.

I figured it out..... On the apps settings it has the option to use degrees F instead of Celsius. Well naturally I checked that option. I also had edited in the EOT pids where it has "unit *C". I changed that to a F. I guess the app now just automatically swaps the readings when you check the option to read in F instead of C.

I edited it back to a C in the EOT unit field and with the settings options set to read in farenheight instead of cesius it is now converted. Was pretty simple after uninstalling it three times.....now to get all the gauges added back.

Also my device is android 4.4 that is all i could find.
Hope this helps anyone else.

I just thought the F and C were for display purposes - I didn't realize it would alter the formula. I learned something here as well.

4.4 is the latest KitKat.

Hold on to your hat - 5.0 is coming November 3rd (Lollipop) I'm going to the new OS as soon as it's out, it's a big change.

By manifold, do you mean the spider where air in goes into the engine? You would have to add a sensor.

There is a MAT (Manifold Air Temperature) on the later 7.3L, and an ACT (Air Charge Temperature) on the earlier ones. I never looked into this, I can nose around and look for it if I have time this weekend.

Maximum value: I'm at 250, but probably don't need it that high. Time will tell.
Minimum value: Set it for your area. I'm in CT, so I'll use about -40 for the winter, lol.

I haven't wrung in out yet. I compared it to IAT and they matched. I'll report back after I take it for s spin.

With the ambient temp here at about 42 today, I was seeing about 48 IAT, and 43 or so MAT while moving. No hard driving, and all on city streets. My IAT sensor is hanging behind the filter in the engine compartment.

Since I wouldn't have discovered this from the display on the dash (after all - ignorance is bliss), I'm not sure how excited I am. Once I replace the alternator, I'll take the relatively new Costco batters back to Costco for testing. As was suggested in another recent thread, I'll also check my ground connections.

I also noticed that I lost accelerator pedal position on my Torque display when I set the cruise control. Makes sense, doesn't it??? Well, the real problem is that I no longer get a reading for accelerator pedal position at all. My settings for accelerator pedal position are as follows:
