Only in the northern states you too can have color changing tires! I know i love this truck its so simple lol. I want to get some cut out flares i think rather than fix the bed cut out the crap and seal it...done. i will definitely be swapping in an auto though, long term me driving it as a stick as much as i love it is more of a pain than not plus the tranny is on its way grinding i to reverse poping out of 1st and occasionally not letting me shift into any gear its time is coming lol. I think people hate it when j beam them because my knee hits the MFS when j clutch lol but thats just me i could be wrong.

Out of all my builds for my its the 04, this then the expy because the expy is more of a maintaining and these two are my toys lol the 04 is the fummins/pretty toy and this guy is the get dirty and git er done toy lol.

Sorry my spelling is horrible when i am on my phone lol.

I love this one almost as much as your 04. Once the 95 is done I probably will like it more then the SD. I just have to much of an addiction to these year trucks (obviously) LOL.

If you auto swap it make sure you get a C6. I love the E4OD and AOD but the C6 is just way to easy to work with.

Lol, how easy is it to swap in a C6? it's a 4 speed right? I looked quickly and i would get a floor shift kit for it so i can just keep the hole that's cut out in the floor for my M5OD right now. is the bolt pattern the same? also is there a TCM or something i need to run it?

Nope C6 has just a vacuum line to the modulator. No computers for it (hence part of the reason I love the C6 in my 88).
It is a 3 speed.
Bolt pattern is the same granted you get one from a 4x4 F150 80-96 300I6, 302, or 351W.

I like it! Nice wheels too! I like the single cab short beds, I feel like you don't see to many of 'em up here in new england. I got one though

Coming along nicely buddy!

Thanks man i love it too, i am definitely going to go to an auto trans at some point though because being 6'6" and high beaming people every time you use the clutch pisses others off lol.

So guys here is the plan for maybe this summer potentially. I am thinking about mounting a 50" LED bar to the roof it is a cheap one but as long as it functions i am happy. I am also going to mount the 4x 7" HID lights i had on my F250 behind the grille.

Also this weekend or next i am going to swap my SD rear springs in the rear for two reasons A) Lift and B) can tow carry more in the bed without worrying about it squatting. I need to use it for mulching this year and dont feel comfortable putting two yards of mulch in the bed like my dad will do despite me telling him not to.

Once the rear springs are in i will see how much the rear lifts and get lift brackets for the front to match the rear lift. Once this is all said and done next will be tires i am thinking 33's but we will see how much room there is i will probably do an A/T tire since i wont be mudding or anything anytime soon with it, she still need more love before i go trying to break things lol.

I'm ready for the following:

"I've been gone this long to source my 4bt/zf6 swap." Followed by " it's all going in this summer".

Haha I've been sourcing 12v stuff for the F250 and that's going in this summer once that's done then this guy will get a 4bt I occasionally look though for one. Will a gas 4r100 hold up to a 4bt? Just curious I still might do a zf6.

How do you have the 50" bar mounted is it on the pillar or above the cab? I am going to get it it's a deal for a 50" 20" and 2 cubes for $300 lol.

4r100 will hold up fine to a stockish 4bt. even with 4bt turned up, 4r100 is a pretty soild trans for that era. itd be blasphemous to use anything but a zf6 though....

This weekend i was watching the dog and when i was in Advanced Auto i saw that plastidip was only $6 a can so i bought 4 and decided to paint some of the 150, i painted the two tone, the rear tailgate panel and a painted a black stripe where the body line is. The lines are not perfect but i plan to use some red plasti dip to coat the red paint and i will overlap by about a 1/2" to make sure i can clean up the lines well. Love this stuff! it's good to temporarily make the truck look good until i get everything fixed (rust) and then can get a real paint job. Plus it peels off if i ever need to take it off.

Pics!

I like this one

Also painted my taillights with some VHT night shades

You mentioned cut-out fenders. Do you have a source for them or are you making your own? I want to do the same thing instead of trying to fix the narrow area around the fender that is rusted through.
