Jesus! I'd expect to see that on a nitrous system or an ejector seat lol. Maybe even exhaust cutouts.... but lights? lol

I'd venture to say the relays are not going to be needed with a switch that beefy lol. Fuse is still a good idea

oh damn, DDM 55W kits only draw 13A so the 35w kits will be nothing for them.

Made a decision by the way over the weekend and ordered some monstaliner. I am going to do all black I stumbled across a picture of when i plastidipped the truck a satin black and forgot how much i loved the color! Only reason it did stay that color was because after i sprayed it in the morning it literally went from 60* to 95* in about 2 hours that afternoon causing a ton of bubbles that i just could not fix without respraying the entire truck...good think i guess is that this paintjob only costed me about $50.

Here's the pic:

I like it. Are you gonna roll it or spray it?

Nice. Make sure you take your time on the prep work. If memory serves me, they suggest cleaning the paint with MEK (methyl ethyl ketone).

Klean-Strip 32 oz. Methyl Ethyl Ketone (MEK) Solvent-QME71 - The Home Depot

I could not find it locally, but Home Depot had MEK Substitute. It is a VERY strong solvent. It worked really well, but make sure your have plenty of rubber gloves on hand.

Awesome man thanks! I was going to sand it really well because of all the chips and peeling paint which hopefully the bedliner will cover anyway. I was going to go with some 80 grit and go a little finer after that.

I wouldn't go too fine with the paper. You want a rough surface so bed liner can adhere to it. Just make sure you get all the dust off and you'll be fine

Installed my HID retrofit hella 700ff lights that were on the 250 today took a while and need to aim the spots down more but ran out of time/light lol. Also have one ballast that went bad apparently so I need to buy a new one but it's an easy plug and play swap at least. Might get some led headlights because my current ones are really really bad.

I like it. How insanely bright are those switches at night? I had to change a switch out of my Ranger because it was so distracting lol.

They are fairly bright however i noticed that once the lights are on they do not bother your eyes as much because everything is all lit up. You could clip them and remove the cover that way it shines down but its up to you really. If its bad enough ill put some smoke paint on them with a q tip to dim them down.

Well gentlemen it's sad to say but I am going to be selling the F150, I happened to come across a dream car for me and I had to hop on it and I just can't justify having another vehicle which is a second truck. I just bought a 1972 dodge charger with a 360 in it that was just rebuilt. It was built by a buddy of mine from high school and he was selling it so I hopped on it all she needs is interior and body work. So as of tomorrow morning she is going to be for sale.

Will be restoring this once the F250 is done!
