I do advertising sales and pr work for different organizations around the country. Something I could almost do at home but it's tough to change a dinosaurs way of thinking. It's boring but it pays the bills.
Im planning on working 830 to 9pm this Saturday and Sunday. If for some reason that changes I'd love to go check it out. I used to live in fort Myers fl and treated bass pro as a place if worship lol. Went every Sunday not even needing a reason.
James are they still having the bog this weekend? Looks like the stars didn't align for me on that one unfortunately.
Sounds like your weekend is shot!
We never needed a reason to go to either Bass Pro, or Cabela's is Kansas.
I'm really into camping and fishing, well playing with guns too.
Y'all be safe, better get off of my butt and at least clean the truck off.
Whaddupp everybody!?
Well we did make it to the new Bass Pro yesterday. What, a mess.... I think it was an old KMart/Walmart building that they are using. It's the smallest Bass Pro shop I've been in, but the parking lot wasn't even large enough to handle the opening crowd, but still a nice store.
We're not hunters, just haven't been. But we do like our camping and fishing trips. Looking at the ad that we got in the mail a few day's ago, I sure did see some new toy's that I'd like to play with. One item, and we did buy is a table that has it's own sink (not vary deep) and cutting board as the table top is pretty cool. This is going to be a nice ad to our camping stuff. And a great sell, $69, normally $99.
Hope y'all have a great rest of the weekend.
Nice table, Bob. Headed south east with a sick Coyote (engine) in the back of the truck. Needs some emergency surgery. We know it has a broken rod. Won't know the total damage till it's opened up... No holes in the pan or block...
GOOOOOD morning everybody, hope you all made it through the storm and able to enjoy a decent weekend Weather guessers say 70 degrees by mid week, so that means it's time to get something to put on the grill, haven't done that in a couple of weeks.
Yes I do grill that often
Same here! Wife wants some marinated Chicken so that will happen. But I'm a Baby Back Rib freak, so I'm thinking about a couple of slabs before weather turns around.
I have a wood smoker and gas grill on the back patio. Waiting for Lowes to do their charcoal special in early spring, 2-20# bags for the price of one bag. Last year we bought 4 bundles, gonna double that this year.
Thought I'd throw this out at you guy's.
I just came across a guy here in NC that is looking for a grill for a 62' F100, any ideas Gonna see about getting him to join our group also.
G'Morning everybody I'm up and moving around getting the day going around here. Shari is out of the house for work, Tim is still... passed out, I've been outside to look at the morning sky and let Rocky do his morning business and about to refill my coffee mug.
I didn't get anything done on the truck yesterday, back issues kept me on the couch for a few day's. Dr. took his time refilling my prescription for back meds, feeling better today. So I'll see about vacuuming the inside of the truck, and get the underneath blasted to get the salt stuff off of it.
With the weeks weather on our side, I've got steaks to marinate and cover with a dry rib, chicken to marinate, and two slabs of Baby Back Ribs, all to go on the grill.
James, sorry to hear you were at a funeral yesterday, hope the family is ok....
Nothing on the agenda for today until I start working on dinner. I have 5 pounds of chicken breast that have been marinating since yesterday evening that will go on the grill. Like I told y'all before, since I've been on long term disability I am, Mr. Mom. But we sure do eat better than when the wife was doing this job...
Hope y'all have a safe day.
