Good morning! On my last mug of coffee, and just a couple of things to get ready for our road trip, but we're not scheduled to get the dogs until 2:30/3:00 so no big rush there.
Good luck on those repairs Canes, sounds like a decent job to do.
Y'all behave
How's everybody doing this morning, well I hope.
We had a decent trip yesterday transporting these two German Shepherds. They stunk to beat hell, so the truck is getting fumigated, and vacuumed later this morning, if it isn't raining. Even as a teenager and what ever I had wasn't running, and that was often, it was at least clean.
Here's a couple of pictures of our passengers. First is Bandit the "tripod" (three legs), and then is Sirius.
Hope y'all have a great day.
Hey Canes, just checking in to see how your repairs are going on. It looked like you had a pretty decent project lined up. If you need a hand or a tool's, I have a few here. We "pm'd" numbers already. Hollar if you need a hand somewhere.
It's warming up a bit, so I'll be cleaning the inside of the truck shortly.
Hope everybody had a good weekend. I got the truck interior cleaned up from dour the dog rescue, mostly just needed vacuumed, but the way those last two stunk, the slight scent if "New car smell" is gone. Time for an air freshener.
Schools are closed back home in Southern Mo, due to the cold temps, and more snow expected, and they can have it too. I'll take the near 60 degree weather and some rain over that other stuff.
I did get a good deal on insurance on the house we have for sale. Now to get them to fix the two times that they zapped our bank account, yup they hit it twice, said it was a computer problem, they are getting a phone call at 9am to get this fixed.
Nice work with the pooches Bob. Stinky or not that's a big deal to those dogs and their new owners. Hope they have better life wherever they are going.
Have a big squirrel hunt this coming weekend and going to the mud bogs with my wife the following weekend. Now If I can just make these two weeks of work disappear between them I'd be set.
Did somebody say "Mud Bog"!
Is that an open to the public deal for us spectators
We hit about every Monster Truck show that came our way, as long as it was outdoors. My son Tim and I love that stuff.
Never been. But I can see that changing lol. Been muddin a bunch obviously but nothing that was structured.
Bob I'm glad it worked out for you. A little vacuuming and an air freshener is a small price to pay. I'm glad it was a safe trip, and as mentioned its a big deal. The dogs can't thank you but we can.
So my first intake manifold job seems to be a success. Took all day and into the night (ill prepared) but it's done. It's a little nerve wrecking since its my dd and had to be in New Bern to pick up my mom to take here to smithfield and be at work in Durham at nine.
Finished up around 1 this mourning with everything. I swear it seems I just close my eyes when the alarm went off.
