Good morning everybody!
Looks like we're going to pay for that beautiful weather we had yesterday.
I did get the oil changed in the truck, first oil change since bought it in September. These newer vehicles must have a fairly high volume oil pump, and a deep sump. With a new filter it takes 8 quarts for the 5.0, $50 oil change doing it myself. Shari's Escape isn't near needing change yet, but our son's car was, so it was next.
It was a great day to spend outside, didn't make it fishing though.
Y'all watch the roads with this ice coming in.
Be safe
Good morning Tony, James, Bob ,and all the rest of you guys out there. Hate to hear you spent the day working on you vehicles Bob. I spent it out riding most of the day. Got in some good therapy time with the bike. Much needed time, A lot going on at work and just haven't had the weather to get out and enjoy the bike as much as this time last year. I did notice yesterday morning when I took prancer out to check the yard there were a lot of different species of birds as compared to just doves and cardinals, so I think they are telling us spring is almost ready to kick in. I am way behing schedule with riding time and am looking forward to making some up with nice weather.Well lunch is now over so time to go out and get dirty again. Have a great day to everyone.
How did your runs go? What did you break? How about the rest of the family? Did they make some runs?
Im just getting home from work. I had to cancell our softball practice on count of the weather. So I used the time at work to try and get caught up. Picked up my kid from dance on the way home. Roads were starting to get crappy in town but not too bad by the time I got out to garner. Probably be crappy in the am.
Speaking of oil change, I bought a 98 Grand Marquis at the beginning of February, and thanks to the new job (which is also why I bought the car) I need an oil change in it...lol But the pay is good, and the opportunity tremendous, so I'm good with it.
Well I finally got my second of three medical release forms in the mail. One more to go and hopefully I can get my CCW this month. Hope you all are staying warm, it's still a cold bugger outside.
