Sounds like a plan, hope you were able to get it home. Being stranded sucks, I've been pretty lucky in that department. My old 79 did that to me a few, actually several times.
Hope everybody is enjoying the beautiful day we have outside today. Just got home from a Craigslist deal gone bad. I'm wanting to try out a Sodastream pretty bad, but don't want to drop nearly $100 for the bottom line set up, just in case I don't like the thing.
My son Tim went with me to Knightdale to be told that they can't find it
back home, eating some Chili and a chili dog, gonna pop a top or few and see what the rest of the day holds in store for us.
Hope everybody had a safe weekend.
We did another transport yesterday of a Shepherd. He's a sweet boy but a little over weight tipping the scales at 120 pounds, he 5 pounds heavier than my skinny 19 year old son Tim. But now he'll go on a special diet, get some much needed exorcise to help get that weight off of him.
So today I get to vacuum the truck again (I hate a dirty truck) and get groceries, fun, fun, fun.
Hope you have a safe work week.
Good morning everybody!
Nothing exciting here, as usual, wife is working from home today, and possibly the rest of the week due to the winter weather that is supposed to be heading this way.
Hope your morning drives have been safe, and that you make it home with no problems.
Watching the weather this morning, I guess we'll see what this winter storm brings to us. So far it sounds like a pretty good one with 2-6"s of snow, and 1/4 to 1/2" of ice...
I'm missing my generator, and wood burning fireplace about now.
I thought I'd throw this out there for those of you that are working in the Durham, Raleigh, RTP area, and may not make it home due to the distance, and what the weather may do to us today. We have an extra "Guest" bedroom here and you'd be welcome to it.
PM me and I will reply with my cell number, and address. I'll check on here throughout the day.
Y'all be safe
