I didn't think anyone could consider Beaufort co densely populated.....
Are we talking bears or people? Cause they's a lot of them bears in Beaufort County.

Heard it could take 3 months or so
About ten days to six weeks is average. They will tell you when you register and get finger printed. You have the option for them to mail it or you to pick it up. It's generally quicker if you pick it up.

Yup almost 60 today, then back to winter for the next few days.
Yep. 60 today. Snow tomorrow. Got to love NC winters.

Yall have a good week.

If they were counting bears I could see it. Beers would be high too. People and boar not so much.

Speaking of which I've always heard Bertie co was bear country. I remember reading the number of bear taken about ten years ago and it was substantially higher than any other eastern county. It's twenty minutes away and I've never made the time to go out for em.

Bertie, Beaufort, Tyrell, Dare, and Washington are all big bear country. But If I'm not mistaken Hyde is the bear capitol of NC. They consistently take more bear in that county and more, big bear there then most others. I think Tyrell and Hyde are usually neck and neck for number of bear tagged.

Edit:

I did a quick search and solidified my opinion.

WHAT a pain in the lower unit!!! Second trip to the Sheriff's office, and I have my paperwork for my CCW in progress..
First trip, well I didn't know that the Sheriff's office had moved from the address I found on line, on Main St, downtown Durham. We finally found the new office to find out that the paperwork is done "On Line", then printed, and some extra copies of pages 3 & 4. Second trip all is completed, now hurry up and wait game has begun. I'll be getting some mail to give my medical release, and call the office in 60 day's......
Guess what time it is now

Y'all behave

Unk Bob

Thinking back on it it might have been more like 15 years ago. I was probably too young to know those other counties were around us lol.

I grew up in Williamston and before I left home at 16 I thought the world was an awfully small place.

GOOOOD morning everybody, looks like this fat boy is staying inside today, man I hate the cold. Today I get to search for new home owners insurance for the house that we still have for sale in Missouri. The company that we've had for years, and have NO claims is dropping us because nobody is living there. I hate phone sex, but that looks like what I'm going to be doing today until I get some coverage on that house.
Y'all stay warm

Sounds like you have the perfect project for a day like this Bob. Well if you had to do it probably best not to waste a 60° day

I did get a few quotes for insurance on the house back in Missouri. I have a few more coming, then I'll take the best three or so and see who really wants to get a sell.
Guess I'll see in the morning if I should have dug out the snow shovel, it's snowing here now, and according to what weather guesser you watch we're expecting 3-5" of that nasty white stuff by morning.

Hope y'all are home safe n warm.

Unk Bob
