Only time I've ever seen a snow shovel was in buffalo ny. Could go forever and not see another one and I'd be fine..
I agree completely! I hate the cold, don't like the snow, I'll take a hot day any day.

We got less than an inch of dry snow here so I'll bring the leaf blower and some ice melt to my mom's house and clear her walkways. I have snow that blew in the front of my carport to remove but the driveway will be ok. Then it's off to O'Charley's for lunch. Have a good one.
GOOD morning everybody . Less than 2"s of snow here, more like an inch and some change. Rocky didn't even mind going outside to do his business, and he hates snow.
Hope everybody gets to work ok.
I have a mail box story too. A couple of summers ago (back home) we were having a BBQ at a neighbor's house, in the front yard. Somebody came flying up our street, swerved and almost hit some friends that were walking up to our get together. As he got in front of our house he left the road, taking out our cedar post that held the mail box, and kept going.
I ran to my 01 F150 and chased him down, fallowing him back to his house and called the police, he was arrested for obvious charges. We did the repair ourselves (me) since he had enough trouble already, and was going through a divorce too, and losing his house.
Less than a week later, our neighbor across the street got home, put her Jeep Compass in her driveway, the brake popped lose, came across the road, and yes..... took out the new cedar post and mail box that I had just repaired.
I had a decent little wood shop in my garage to keep me busy, and with my antique Shopsmith 10ER, I turned a cedar bat out of the larger piece of that cedar. Just for the next person that took out my post...
That funny! I think I might have had to switch to metal after the second one. Of coarse you'd be doing your neighbors a favor if you made it out of balsa instead :-)
It's always nice to have a good reason to spend time in the shop!
Thanks for the compliment, I sold most everything that I made (All in solid cedar), several shelves, jewelry box, feeders etc, I also have a 6' long solid cedar slab that I turned into a sweet bench.
All of the wood working tools gone too, more of the toy's that were sold to help pay for our move here. I had a pretty cool little place to go hide in.
