Benny, I wondered how long it would the for someone to ask about the sand ...... but isn't it more like a clay and not a sand? I don't think you know what you're talking about.
BUT silica sand is so nice and white and sharp. Good for sand blasting too.

P.S. Bella just had a tree snack. Good thing there was not any breakables on it.
HEHEHE, If I was to tell all you guys that I do MY flush with well water (not) that it really cleans the ports and the cooling system and adds extra minerals to my coolent, would ( YOU ) Jeez

You got that Right!!!I am LOST AS HELL PLEASE HELP I am DESPRITE!!!!
SO are you saying I need a 50/50 Sand/Clay MIX??????????????
If you really want to boost your cooler longevity (oil and EGR). A hand full of peat goes a long way. Easy to get too, Home Depot has 50 pound bags, should be enough "additive" for several sand flushes. Warning, if you perform this mod, you need a custom degas cap that can vent the gases generated by decomposition of the peat.
Benny, you are waaaaay behind! you want the latest E-C4 coolant... That way you can route the coolant directly into the intake for even higher detonation and wicked power (C4=propane)
ooooohhh, so sollly, once we were on the sand for water I thought why not add more HP???!
if you have a blown head gasket on a gas motor, and it's sucking
water, and you take equil parts mccann's rolled oatmean, and
HOT cayenne pepper, fill the radiator full when cold, put a shot
glass of each in the radiator, start it and run it about half an hour,
shut it off, and let it sit until cold.....
it'll usually seal the head gasket... where the leak is flashes to steam,
and cooks the oatmeal and pepper into a patch.
i had an astro van that i fixed that way, and ran it almost 150k miles
without any issues... just make sure the water is kept up and don't
run it without full water.....
how's that for illogical? it's also the absolute truth. guy raised on a farm
in the midwest told me this, the day i blew the head gasket... what have
i got to lose... worked like a charm.
Hey, I like the idea of patching head gaskets in a gas that way! I'd try it on that '95 neon but I think fuel mileage would decrease if I patched the leak. It's like built in water/methanol injection! (Almost)
