Oh Good you got the Good Stuff out LOL

When I was in Nevada this summer I saw a guy riding a Motor cycle and thought to myself if he crashed and was all jacked up laying in the road it would have Fried him like a scrambled egg on the asphalt. It was 115*f and only God knows how hot on the road. I know when we would get out the truck and go in say a walmart your feet felt like they was on fire by the time you made it to the store threw your shoes

So it seems pretty simple? Is there anywhere with a 04 specific model with pictures I can read that you would say is correct? To many incorrect things these days. If so I will clean it! Maybe delete it when I afford the kit myself! One step at a time!

the EGR Deleate is abit more involved and depending on if you have emissions testing where you live may complicate things

here is a Pic of the EGR Valve its got the wire harness unplugged in pic

Oh she's running damn good, but considering I paid a lot, love the truck, and just got it and wanna do everything myself just inxase last owner didn't. I figure ita best to just go ahead and clean it at least, and keep continuing forward as it goes on

Hey on that EGR, The 2 8mm Bolts... Are they Torque Specked?

I found myself a pair and was going to go out there and pull it to check for soot, and i was trying to loosen the bolts, and they were just not coming, i heard a screech and decided i was done before something bad happend.

If they are just super tight, and i decide to go again, do i have to torque them down?

Does ford use those crappy soft metal bolts in there?
if i "WAS" to break one off, could i just bolt it down with 1 bolt until i could get it fixed GOD FORBID

Warm up the truck that may help the bolts break free

Maybe some PB Blaster

You may need new Gasket and Orings just depends how they come out

Torq shouldn't be to High its in aluminum so wont be to high they are just seized this is why I use antiseize on Every Bolt I pull out Iv put Tubes of theat stuff on my truck over the years now

You should be OK just use a 6 point socket to get Bolts out that way they shouldn't strip out

the bolts are pretty new looking, i dont want them to break!

Do i HAVE TO Torque them back? I dont have a Torque Wrench personally.

I love anti-seize as well. and i will do that to them.

I really hope the o-rings are fine because i dont have any for it. im hoping that it is in good shape and it will make me feel better. it is running great right now but it did pull a code when i had it in the shop about it. i just dont wanna get stuck with bad o-rings

Tell you the Truth I don't really know Tuners but theres a lot of good Info out there 1. would be you need Head Studs 2. I think its more problems than good .
the Gauge of cord would be ok as long as you don't run it 200 ft I put a dial timmer on 1 hour before I get going .
Benny and the Guys have Learned Me , couldent tell by my spelling LOL, Thanks for the Kind words

oh no problem! thank you! haha

i think they sell little timers at walmart or something and i will have to pick one up, im going to just plug it in before i go to bed.

does it draw a lot of power?

the tuners- i dont want anything major, nor do i want to really have to change my head bolts right yet. i just want something for gas mileage and maybe one preformance tune. do you not run tuners?

for the heads kit it is 1,100 then labor. so i am pretty much going to narrow that down to a real big NO. not now at least! so if i have to then i just wont tune.

I don't run a tune, my truck has been all I need stock, these trucks were built for pulling and I don't need the extra head tramma, when the tunner wants to %^#k up, I pull skip loaders, dump trailers, Back hoes ,cows and Horses, no Problem , I even Haul my wifes a&* ,Opps
I have the dial timmer for my Christmas lites to, too lazy and too cold to keep going out and unplugging , that way the timmer is set and all I have to do is plug and unplug.
