what kind of extension cord for it? and where do i get the right timer?

160 bucks at auto zone, maybe less on line , thanks guys, the main ones you want right now would be alt, batt, ICP,ICPV,FICM, you can enter the others later,when you take these tests do it like this at warm engine not cold=
KOEO(key on engine off) take the values
low ( just Idle, no Ac heat or radio ) take the value)
high ( 2500 rpm steady) take values
you can only watch four at a time so at that point you can bring up the next four on the screen like EOT,ECT,VGT. Take your time entering the PIDs because after awhile the numbers all the the same.

You have to enter the whole number string for each code, of course. ICP, ICPv, FMP (all the FICM codes really) EOT (ECT = fWt already programmed), MAP, BARO, EBP, Vref, SYC, FDC plus what ever else you want to enter. Be aware that Xgauge 24 will display FIRST after the preprogrammed gauges. I alphabetize them starting with Xgauge 24 = "A" and Xgauge 1 ="Z" (hope that makes sense). It takes a little practice to get the numbers/letters entered correctly so take your time as they all start to run together after a while.

Well After All my SCANGAUGEII EXCITEMENT! Im Srewed lol... they sent me a defective scangauge where i can only see the top left and right options. the bottom is just l lines...

that stinks and i paid for 1 day shipping!

thanks money pit for this , been swamped. watch the Vid to program the scan Gauge with ford x gauges slow down bud and take note in other threads that I have Given you detail info. suxs that the gauge off the bat, wont do what is needed / make sure you plug in the OD port right. no bent pins and keep it there for the remaining time you drive the Truck , you can take it out any time you want because the Info you Input to that lil box will remember your truck. Let me Know bud.

I will keep it there, I have 35s on so I don't know if the mpg is off but is says 7.1 lol way wrong. Mph also. I am learning though. I'm pissed almost 299 bucks is wasted but I drove 160 miles today, for the first 100 miles after I got my truck back, the truck took about 7 seconds to start " I was told because of the air in the system" but now cranks over 2 to 3 times and bam I got a hard on. I can tell you without you Badford especially I would be in hell right now. I try to give you rep every time I log ok ad I can't. Please do keep helping me. And I'd love a phone call because I could use some voice to learning. Hell if pay for it!! You have saved me so far 1200! Thnks my man loving my new truck now. Will have tons new questions soon. Oh and, when I left off gas it sounds weird like from the left front side. Almost like a wheel bearing but not maybe bogging down when I left off " only happens when I do off highway" and when I **** offt truck it sounds like it's letting out air.... Normal?

One thing Have you tried to reset the SGII to manufacture settings??

And on my truck my SGII wont read some of the stuff if I manually turn it on Before the Truck is started


I had a SGII go whacked once they shipped a New on that day no problem

When I got the New one I put the Bad one in the box and attached a label they sent with it so Linear Logic paid for all the shipping to

They were really good to deal with

Thanks, I put my Gauge on the colom with the velcrow , that's the only gauge I watch, with the fuel, kinda weird at first but you know with out taking yer Eyes off the road or wheel and at the finger touch to change what you want to read at times , still looking forward to or drive.. You made a great Choise let us know ./ Input for Gauge=

Well like I said I had to ship it back. Free return shipping 1 day shipping there and back. Hopefully have my money back to get another one but all in all. Trucks great
How long do I bed to let my truck cool down before shutting her off? I still have to get a cord and timer to heat her at night wen I need. I'm sure ill up come 20 more questions in a bit. Right now I'm bummed my gauge was broke!
