Thanks guys for all the well wishes.

Three inches on a two year old is equivalent to how many inches on a grown man???

My poor build thread had dropped all the way back to page 4! LOL! Just a small update....I got my new chip with Tony Wildman tunes ordered today, and hopefully next week sometime I can get my new gauges and pillar pod ordered. Other than a new air filter, and two more gallons of Fleetcharge, that should be everything for now. I am gonna work on building a 4" straight exhaust after I get the truck back together and on the road again, and do some interior mods this winter, but there will always be stuff like that to do. As far as this "build" goes it will be done until next year (hopefully) I can totally rebuild the late '97 engine I have and do studs and springs at time of rebuild and get all these mods transferred over to that engine and get it in the truck.

Too bad you weren't closer to me Bill. You could have my straight piped exhaust at a heck of a discount! Even has the downpipe you would need. I guess it could be cut up and shipped, problem is I don't know if I should disable my truck quite yet. Let me know if you're interested at all, I'd give it some more thought.

Is there a reason you don't want to just run with the motor that is in the truck instead of putting another one in? Just my opinion, but if the one in there is ok, I'd just stud and spring that one and save some bucks on a rebuild, Rebilld. HAHA!!

Thanks for the offer on the exhaust Darin. I'm just gonna build one to go all the way back and out behind the wheel, or go with a Diamond Eye system if I get the money later.

As far as the engine goes, the late '97 block is supposed to be a heavier cast and stronger block, so I want that engine in this truck because I plan on keeping this one. I have plans for the engine that is in the truck now. If I tear one up, I don't want it to be the late '97 one
