New to Ford-Trucks
Hello guys, I'm new here and to diesels.
I just picked up an 06 6.0 F350 CCLB DRW as my tow rig and I'm looking to tow a 15k loaded 5th wheel toy hauler to the dunes.
Mods so far are Edge Insight CTS2 w/EGT probe and a street tune.
I just got a 4" MBRP 409 sst steel turbo back exhaust for her this weekend, I just haven't put it on yet.

Hello and welcome to FTE.
You might get a quicker response if you post this in the 6.0 section of FTE. Or wait for someone in the Nor Cal chapter who has a diesel to respond. Never owned a diesel so I am definitely not your man.

1978 F150 4x4 restore
new member Bob . Restoring my first new car a F150 4x4, long bed, Custom, auto, regular cab, radio only. bought it off the dealer in Reno Nv. in Nov 1977. Been a construction truck and farm truck its whole life . Not much use the last ten years. Not a lot of rust but everything is hard to get off after 40 years. My son wants to restore it and bring it back to a daily (weekly) driver.Doing all the mechanicals to make it safe, Than going to paint it a 1968 Mustang Brittany Blue. Want it mostly stock. Years ago found some bronco aluminum rims so we are putting on some 33x10.5 x15s. Hope to find a better bench seat (any thoughts). Will try and post some pics of restore

Hello. New guy here from New Brunswick, Canada. Well, new to this site anyway, I've been kicking around here and there since 1956. Bought my second Ford truck last fall, a fairly well preserved 1997 F150 XLT 4X4 with 309,000 km on the clock. My other Ford was a 1972 F100. Had numerous Ford/Mercury cars back in the '70's and '80's but always favoured Dodge trucks but haven't liked any of them since their redesign in '94. Anyway, glad to be here, found this site through a link on the Garage Journal board. Looking forward to talking to you all.
