Wow, a local boy. I like that style, but I don't know if i would want to tackle a project of that scope. Should be interesting though. I will never understand why people let vehicles sit so long. If you are not going to use it, sell it so someone else can get use out of it. Just my my humble opinion.

Time, money, and emotional attachment.
My 1990 5.0 25th Anniversary Edition Mustang GT was stolen and stripped back in 2001. It sits under several tarps, still waiting to be rebuilt and restored.
Once of these days I will have the time and money, and then it will be back on the road again.

Hey Stewart. . I had a question.. are you in sac by chance. Or able to look at a picture of a glow plug by pass I'm doing. I've wired to what I can find on the Web bit it's not working. Just trying to see what I did wrong. The green wire is to a push button then to a ground from the button..
I was installing a new solinoid in this picture since I can't afford the whole thing..

Sorry, I'm down south of you here on the Central Coast, the beautiful Monterey Peninsula.
Ugh, anything that has to do with electrical current and its flow through wires has always eluded my understanding.
Post up in the appropriate diesel forum and the guys there will get you squared away.
