I live in Petaluma California. Sonoma valley
old as dirt. The good part is. They haven't thrown the last shovel onto my casket yet. I'm going to still be kicking until the last shovel goes on.
building my very first Ford. I've built Chevrolet's all my life. Then in my 50's I got into high end Super cars. Then I died a few times. (Litterly)
. Sold everything. Came across a pretty nice little 1973 Ford F100 truck with 90k miles on it. I decided to put all Jaguar independent suspension under it.

Thanks Nighteyez/Jim,
You probably remember me as FordF250scorpion4x4 with the 2012 6.7. I sold her and ordered a 2019, thought I would keep the '12 forever but when the 2017+ came out I was hooked on the fit and finish compared to my F250XLT SRW 6.7..
Sold both the truck after finishing the loan 58/60 paid off early and trailer for that big down-payment to keep payments lower. Ordered 2019 F350 Lariat DRW. Planning for larger trailer(s) and more hauling power. Our family grows walnuts and persimmons on the 2nd farm.
Had some great times with the truck and it's served me well for 93,000 miles, the new owner appreciated the maintenance and upkeep over the last 60 months.
Can't wait till my new one gets here, haven't gotten the VIN yet, ordered 12-22-18. I ordered at Gridley Ford close to the farm but I live in Sacramento half the time.
I'll miss the '12 but will get another later is business is good this year!
Happy New Year and best of luck to everyone!

Good morning. I'm glad to have found and join this forum. I just acquired a 78 f250 single cab long bed. I plan on fixing the truck with my 14 year old son with the intention of giving it to him at 16. Quick question what are the best military tires available for snow country?
Any and all responses are much appreciated..

Hello Arizona F250. Welcome to FTE. You will probably get a lot more answers to your question here:
https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/forum38/
This is the new member forum for the Nor Cal chapter of FTE. And you are welcome to post here, but if you post your question in the 73-79 forum you will most likely get a lot more responses. I have no clue what military tires are available for your truck, so would be of no use to you in that regard.

Glad to be aboard and thanks for having me. I’m hoping to learn as much as I can about my 6.0. So far it’s been rather overwhelming trying to stay informed about the workings of my truck. Once again glad to be aboard and thanks in advance for the info I’m certain to ascertain! 👍
