hi my name is joey i have a 1992 f350 7.3 idi diesel having some problems and don't know whereto look to find help i put a new tach sensor in it the tach still doesn't work and the tranny want shift gears and the od light on the shifter doesn't come on i have a obo1 tester but it is not throwing any codes i cant afford to throw lots of money at it i changed the oil the other day and while doing so i checked the trany fluied and picked up a bottle of fluid from my basement and started dumping it in then i realized it was a bottle that i had put airtool in so i only put 1/2 quart be for i realized it i put a new shift sensor in the rear end last year and new rpm sensor and new tps sensor i dint know if i should change the fluid put a new tech/pcm/tcm in it or what i have driven fords for more that 20 years best vehicle around can someone tell me where to look for my answers to my questions pls help thank you

Hello Mitchell, head on over to the 7.3 idi forum , so I can't help much I'm from the land of 6.0, there are guys that do drive 7.3 in the nor cal chapter, but prolly get good feed back in the other forum , good luck
Also check the FSS sensor located in the rear pumpkin axel up towards the top if you have been 4 wheeling or put the axle to far into water may have plugged or corroded the wires also make sure the vent tube back there is not plugged

Looking forward to getting started on my 1964 P400 Ford Boyertown Delivery Van. She's all aluminum and running. Having the seat repaired currently and will need new wiper motors, and the passenger door is a bear to slide, but other than that, she's great.

Welcome to the forum. The folks here have deep knowledge and are very helpful. They can decode your vin plate and tell you the running gear and other details if you post the info in a request.
I hope to see mote photos of your 64 and maybe learn about your other projects.
