And here all this time I thought I my application was summarily rejected.
I had given up hope and resigned myself to wait until moving to a different state and perhaps try applying to a different chapter, possibly under a different username for a fresh start... incognito.
I thought, maybe I won't mention Jaguars on my next application. But lo and behold... I come back several weeks later, and I'm in!
Whatever possessed you to leave the membership door open a little bit longer for this stray "cat" to wander in, I'll never know. Who was it that said "I wouldn't join any club that would have me as member"?
Here's a wave... and I promise to try and behave.

I like the two Jaguars I own, but the XJ-S is just too hard on my knee to drive for anything longer than 15-20 minutes, and quite hard for me to get out of once I am in it. The Xj6 is a joy to drive, and I would like it a lot more if it would stop breaking down every two weeks of driving.

Believe me, I KNOW what you mean about needing repair every 2 weeks. In fact, I haven't driven my old XJ-6 in over 22 years now. Not sure why I'm keeping it. In 5 years it will be 40 years old. Mine has a 4.2L straight six, all original, with a REAL (and 3/4" thick) burlwood dash fitted with the traditional round Smith gauges. The Jaguar factory in Coventry Eng sourced the wood for their dashes from Northern California in the 1970's ... somewhere near Chico, I was given to understand.

Well I work for a phone company out in Roseville. I have a 2001 Ford F350 XLT 4x4 6 inch lift with King Shocks on all corners. It currently rides on Toyo MT's 37X13.50 18's. The mods I have are Stage 1 injectors, DP tuner, MBRP 4"turbo back, OCR from RiffRaff, 6637 from RiffRaff, Boots from RiffRaff, Built trans with shift kit and external oil cooler with a 12" fan. Always looking to change things around.
