Shoulder belts didn't turn out so hot. That tight weave nylon didn't want to take I guess. Might try Something else and I'd that doesn't work I'll just buy new ones.
Good news is the guy with the clean Texas bed said I can come get it Monday!
Went to start pulling my new bed today. Leaves and dirt in the front of the bed caused some rust I'll have to replace with the old bed floor. But everything else is super clean. I had forgot it had the bedside box which I've always thought was sweet. But I have to go back tomorrow to cut the front two bolts loose and haul it off.
Anybody know if JBG or LMC sells the weather stripping for this door?
Got the bed back to the shop and started stripping it down, pulling the trim off and taking the toolbox out and finding out the extent of the rust in the front of the bed. Looks like its going to need the front 1.5' of floor and about 3" of the front side.
Redid my cluster, I'm way happier with it now. The original bulb swap was better than stock, but left much to be desired with uneven light spread. I painted the needles with florescent paint so they glow in the blue light, and installed four 6 LED strips around the inside. The light distribution is perfect now, and its much brighter.
I might try this this summer on my own. Did you put green LEDs in for the turn signal indicators?
No they're blue LED's in there from when I first swapped. The film on them turned blue over time so a green bulb in there looks weird now. The seatbelt and brake lights are still red though.
