I like all the colors, but my vote is to keep it some sort of red. I love these old dents in red. Plus I like to keep trucks in a shade of the original color. That's just my opinion though. Any choice would look great.
I feel your pain on that lower door pillar. I had to cut out both sides and weld in new on mine. My hinge area wasn't quite as bad as yours. What are you going to do there? I've had red, white, black, and now green Ford trucks. They all look good. Paint it whatever color makes you happy.
i posted my truck a few posts back of it in it's original dark midnight blue metallic color , i also posted how it looks now with an all red donor body on, i kind of like the red ( getting used to it ) , but all my interior parts are blue. i'm a few years off on painting it so we'll see what happens.

Well original color was the dark metallic blue, but there's a ton of blue ones, not as many candy red ones. The red ones are usually fire engine red so it won't be that.

I'm going to cut from that upper line down out of the truck I got my grille from, using that line will help keep it straight and keep the hinge in the same place fingers crossed.

My interior has grey seat, headliner, and dash pad... But blue seat belts. I'm hoping to find some superduty seats out of a super cab with the seat belts built in. That way I can fill the pillar holes. But anyhow a grey interior will match any color
Boy, that looks all too familiar. A royal pain in the a**. Looks like you have a good donor piece to go in. Good luck and keep us posted.
Will do, the donor truck was luckily solid where I needed it to be, it was starting to rot a bit, but I caught it in time so it'll get the job done. The worst part so far has been getting the old rusted mess out, I think I'm going to have to remove the lower part of the vent area there so I can get the pillar fully welded, since it only needs 3 sides welded in that area.
After a week of work, I finally got my new door pillar skin welded in. I cleaned the rust off the inside of both pieces and sprayed it with a couple coats of weld through primer, so she should be safe for quite a while. I still have to do some grinding and filler work, but I'm pretty pleased
