your entire chassis is a 77.5-9. you should be able to tell if the cab is a HB cab by looking at the rear cab mounts. highboy cabs had the mounts in farther then the later trucks, so who ever swapped the body would have had to drill 2 new holes father outboard to line up with the cab mounts on the frame.
as far as your axle, id order parts for a 78 f250. take some pics and we can identify it for sure to make sure it isnt a 60 but its hard to say from your pics.
oh and also so you know for the future if you fine another one of these you want to buy a highboy will have the following features
a 36" rear frame width
divorced t-case
cross member at the very front of the frame horns
2.5 inch wide rear leafs
low pinion front axle
ram assisted steering (hydraulic actuator of the front axle)
also, Highboys had a factory 4 inchish block under the rear springs
Had a thought today, would the lift have something to do with the tie rod? Wouldn't that have been part of the lift kit?
nope not at all. tie rod is a stock item to your truck. you either have a dana 44 ( most likely ) or a dana 60 . any parts store should be able to order you one.

That was my original plan until I began looking at diagrams for axle configurations and none I saw had a straight bar like I have
got a picture of your steering set up, as far as a stabilizer you dont need to have one, but with those large tires i would recommend it. the part is still the same and will fit your truck.
So yesterday I had to replace the bulb in one of my back marker light bulbs and while I had it off I noticed the lens was wanting to come off so I decided to pop it on off and glue it back together until its time for some new ones(they're old and brittle and still just need replacing). I noticed there's a perfect little grove there for an LED strip like what I use on a lot of my projects. So I threw some leads on a red 6 LED strip, ran the wires out the back, JB welded the holes to keep out water, and glued the lens back on. I also painted the edge of the lens to match my tail lights. I'm probably going to do them differently to look a lot cleaner when I get new ones but I like how it turned out for a little thrown together afternoon project. Let me know what y'all think.
