Just finishing mocking up the new cold air intake. Working on finishing up all the small items so I can finish up the trans upgrades and fuel system tomorrow so I can start the truck up.
No, I decided I wanted a better actuator and used an upgrade powerstrock actuator. I had to shorten the rod and rethread it and made my own bracket out of an old 093 bracket I had. It should allow for more accurate settings on higher boost numbers.
Looks Sweet.... I am using the same ceramic paint on my turbo pipes and manifolds too.....didn't think about repainting after wrapping... What oil are you breaking in the engine on?...
Well since you are trying out the actuator, I think I am going to go with the DP spring, and we can compare results... You being auto will probably skew them a bit, but regardless, it will be worth comparing.
I have noticed that with this cam, and the guys that have tested it out, it likes a restricted hotside... So I think we can get away with some more drive pressure, and have better performance at the same time...
Well in the last 2 days I think I have had about every interuption there was, between the phone ringing, fixing the daughters car, had to fix the hot water heater in the house, ect. I think I am finally getting back on track.
All that is left to do to start the truck is fluids, battery cables to reroute, and a couple small items then I can start preping for startup and topping off fluids.
daggone all these builds are making me want to..
stay off this site for a while and i'm startin to thinkm eh we'll just get her runnin good and turn her into a work truck..
