Some of them are but not everyone who is above 20+psi are running those cams. Also Racin's cam doesn't really drop dynamic compression that much. Iirc it is only around a point...
I have seen a dyno of a Cummins that had Harland-Sharpe roller rockers and the peak power and torque difference wasn't huge but the difference down low was actually pretty big. The dyno didn't start until around 2k rpm but the space between the old dyno was pretty big. I don't remember the exact numbers but it was pretty eye opening...
Very Nice....The Improvement in Accuracy and stability will be measurable but not a Big power mod. If you did back to back engine dyno runs you would see a difference in performance over stock Mostly its for reliability and pure coolness... You win just because nobody has them.
beautiful, those should definitely add some valve train accuracy, should be able to pull more rpm out of it.
so since you had these made is there some data for them, can they be reproduced fairly easily now?
would you mind posting a cost?
Harlan Sharp makes them, you can get them in 1.5, 1.6, and 1.7 ratios.
As far as cost you would have to call them and get a price now that they have made a set.
The main reason for me in buying them was for reducing the stress on the valve terain. I have lost an engine before after breaking off a valve tip sending the valve into the engine. The price of the rockers is less then the cost of getting my truck hauled back home from a great distance away so it makes economic sense to me. Not to mention the cost of repairs from such a failure.

Reason: spelling
new diesels now are running valve releifs in the pistons in aftermarket pistons and such for valvetrain. Well this lead for more options for us via airflow/cfm? without extensive head modifications? I know racin was looking into his heads upgraded, but what about a high lift motor on high engine compression?
