I got it off of Amazon for about 160ish. I'm really thinking of getting the passenger side as well to move some stuff out of the cab.
Thats not bad i had originally thought about getting both as well. On the recon lights if you use a 10mm deep socket on the locking pins to can adjust them like the passenger side looks like it sits close to the tail gate but the drivers side doesn't. On my truck since the paint was new it rubbed off some of the paint after a while and made a bubble that i had to fix. Might be worth it to prevent any paint damage from vibrations and to make it match the drivers side.
Cool man thanks! Those would work perfect for me. The lights look good man, I'm seriously debating getting a conversion done now. Does the plsce you used do conversions or do you need to buy the parts snd send them in?
Edit: just checked their site your trucks all over it man it looks nice!
No lightwerkz has all the stuff besides headlight housings to do the retro fit. They recommend the fxr setup but that would cost you 2-300 more for just the parts over what my kit cost. I can say that my setup is now prefect. It was very expensive but the output is ridiculous.
Got some much needed work done.on the truck today. Changed the transfer case fluid, oil and filter, and front diff. Also painted the front diff cover.
Question I have though. It was 30 degrees and snow/raining. Would this cause issues with the rtv skinning and sealing. We let it "skin" for about 20-25 minutes per guzzle's instructions put the cover on and tightened everything down in a star pattern and then let it set for about 2 hours before we added the fluid in. As of right now it's not leaking but I was slightly concerned I don't know how the rain will affect it
