That sucks, let us know the outcome! Why do you think it failed simply the screws were not strong enough to hold the swing case weight or was it because the case swinging on it's own ripped them out?

I don't know I think the screws ripped out because the bracket tore. But I don't know why the bracket tore to begin with its steel 3/16th plate

Was curious if you had ever looked at the Bestop Powerboards as a replacement for your running boards? they come down when you open the doors and are pretty well hidden when not in use and give a nice clean look to the truck when closed.

Well had something done on the truck yesterday. Been chasing a power steering leak for the past week. After a call to redhead a new one was at my door in 2 days. I believe it was leaking out of the red cap. While it was in the shop I had my exhaust tucked.

Picked up a new toy for my truck. Have fixed the factory set too many times. So I decided to go with something I know will work everytime I want it to work.

Yeah, I've tried fixing everything 2 or 3 times. But I will not buy another oem hub, just to be burned in 3 or 4 years. I went into the local 4x4 shop set on either the MM or warn premiums and they recently stopped working with MM due to Warrenty issues and bad customer relations. So I got these. Expensive but boy are they pretty.

Installed the warn hubs. SUPER easy install. Hardest part was getting the old ones out. Took about an hour only because I had to pull the drivers side tire off to get a good grip on the old esof hub.

Getting some help

Finished product

Smooth actuation and looks killer. Little sad that they're hidden behind my center caps. But it will also keep them clean.

Thanks for the compliments. I used them for the first time today and I can say it's a relief to know that they work the first time every time. Just pop the center caps and spin the hubs. And then drive. No trenching out my parents yard which makes them much happier.

might be a bit premature, but i believe i'm getting about .5-1 mpg better with the new hubs. usually see 12.9-13.4 last three days I've seen 13.9 - 14.3. I'm pretty sure they were dragging in addition to sucking at the only job they had. Worth every single penny.

Maybe they were sticking and twisting the fron axle a little bit, I noticed a slight difference when my esof hubs broke so I left them locked for a few weeks.
