looking good. Have a 02 V10 ourselves so subscribing for any ideas. I hope to do a 6.0L trans cooler upgrade too. when you do the 08 tailgate are you going to do one with the tailgate step or just a regular one.

I would probably like the step but i do not want the handle. I believe from reading on here that i can buy a tailgate with a step and remove the handle, which will probably be what I'll do because i use my tailgate as a seat and to slide things in and out.

yea i have read that you can remove the handle which i am looking to do to mine as it is only in the way and just gets scratched up. but the step is a great feature! great looking truck! i love the look of the SC SB
Sadly it took me almost 6 months to get one of these. But here's a clip of the exhaust. I was not driving so I don't know what the RPM or throttle was at any point
Finally had time off of work to do the very important upgrade to my brakes
I got my rotors from R1Concepts, Hawk LTS, New upgraded front pins, new rear pins and the pad hardware for the tune of 650-700$
Initial reaction: It is so nice to be able to touch the brake pedal and not have the steering wheel and pedal pulse like a roller coaster. The brake force on the truck has easily increased.
Side question.... My pads were cracked and the rotors had huge hot spots, some as big as dimes. Is there a way that i can avoid this happening in the future???

When I saw those tail gates 1st come out with the step on them, I said "Man, thats so stupid and useless. "
Now, I wish I woulda got one, because it is a really nice thing to have haha!

Yeah, since I did the rear block and 285s the tailgate is another 2-2.5 inches in the air it would have been nice especially when loading up the bed with scrap last night.

Truck looks good. Like the solid color and the tint.
Did the sway bar bushings remove a lot of noise under the cab?
The sway bar bushings did not get rid of all my clunking under the cab. They got rid of a lot of it, and did give me a HUGE increase in turning stability, but I think I have a bad body mount under the driver side that I have to diagnose a little more.
I had a clunking also and it turned out to be bad upper front shock bushings
The only reason that i don't believe that it's the shocks and I'm leaning toward the body mount is because the Shocks, Swaybar bushings, Ball joints, and Spring isolator pads are new... So i think the only thing left is Spring bushings and body mounts. and the spring bushings "look" okay.
