You bet! He just bought a 05 Crown Vic State patrol car, and I'm going to use the complete suspension and power train on the 67. He wants it "slammed"...... Still debating on using a 500ci caddy engine I just happen to have in my storage for a "special" project.
They make a great conversion! Mikey really want's the 500ci caddy in it, but I told him he'd have to wait till the suspension is in before I can tell if there's enough room......
The Cleveland's are great engines, but some people are purest and want to go all OEM, me: I like making things for myself and how I like them, not always the way Ford made them
Well, let's see if I qualify for being a purest. Started with a 67 F-100. 68 cab, 69 bed, 79 dash and front axle, 89 351W and ZF-5 and transfercase.
Nope, I'm thinking I'm gonna just **** the purest off!LOL
My first post on FTE back in Jan05 was on my 68 with the 472 Caddy front wheel drive. Almost didn't come back. I caught a ton of flack over that post.........lol
I don't give a damn what others think of my projects. I build them like I want!
Most of the people that raise a fuss over our projects don't have a pot to pizz in.
It's easy to sit there with your brand new stock truck with payments, and tell us how wrong we are for resurrecting something that was discarded for trash, and making it safe, and giving it new life.
I have seen some things I would never do to any of my projects, but that don't mean it was wrong for that person to do that to his project.
Then we have the ones that just sit and write checks, have their project handed to them, and act like they did all the work.
I like stock, modded, rodded, and restro rodded
They are all eye candy to me.
All of my viehicles stay in an "unfinished" state, as I just plain out like to work on them!

Mornin Charlie! Great post, and soooo true!
I've seen things on here that really bug me, but never say a thing about them. What someone else likes means nothing to me. I build my rigs FOR ME!
I have built for others, usually I have a talk with them, and sway them away from stupidity, but that don't always work. If they are paying me to do what they want, it's done that way.
