I'll look around next time I go to Lowes or any place like that, my local Lowes has a lot of stuff like that.

But tonight I might drive my truck to Walmart, since my dad's gonna be gone with my moms car and my dads truck has dragging brakes.

The next things on my list are to take my coolant recovery tank out and epoxy the cracked mounting hole that bolts to the fender, the other side is busted off, I looked on LMC and found out that I have a 87-96 recovery tank? yet I have seen other 85/86's with the same recovery/washer fluid tank as mine? weird. I'll just epoxy it and use it for as long as I can before having to spend $60 on a new one for a damn piece of plastic.

Let us know how well epoxy holds to that plastic. Some plastics and epoxies don't bond.

Some epoxies are better than others.
Proper prep is essential.

The West System thickened G-Flex 655-K repair kit would be ideal for this.

(My father was an engineer in the plastics and polymer industries)

Yes,
In their product rollout they had glued a rotomolded kayak back together.

Here is the adhesion data. WEST SYSTEM | Specialty Epoxies - G/flex

2312 tensile psi on alcohol wiped and flame treated HDPE is really very good.

Anything that adheres to HDPE is good.

IDK, if the tank is molded of PE or Polypropylene.
Either way, most glues/epoxies don't have a chance of sticking to it.

That's what I was thinking, that most epoxies aren't going to work on that tank. I'd order the stuff from Amazon.

There is also the junkyard for a replacement tank. It may not be new but sometimes you can find one in good condition. By coolant recovery tank, do you mean the overflow tank? My bronco came with a smashed milk jug, I bought a tall mountain dew can and built a little platform for it, then tied it down with some thin wire that blends in. It looks better than before.

Yeah, the plastic overflow tank for the van had cracked and started leaking in the same area mine is cracked where the bolt hole tab extends out, my dad epoxied it with the same stuff I'm going to use and it's been fine for a year and stopped the leak. It's the Loctite epoxy, general purpose I believe. I've used it to seal a lawnmower plastic gas tank for 2 years now that was cracked.

So today I didn't get as much done as I wanted to, but I got the passenger side spark plug wires trimmed so they look better and aren't all over the place, I will do the drivers side and change the oil on Monday. Boy were those distributor end terminals crimped on there tight, the crimper for the plug wires on my wire stripper pliers work pretty good too. It crimps them tight, not as pretty as it originally was but it's under a 90 degree boot so who cares, it's a good tight crimp.

It's amazing how long some people run their wires. Properly trimmed and routed wiring helps so much with the underhood looks.
