The only thing I was wondering about is the new fuel line on the inlet side. Think I'll have a hard time with it with the pump on? Got the fuel bowl all cleaned up and ready to go. One little thing, I found this black plastic worm screw looking looking thing in my dip basket. Don't recall taking it out of the fuel bowl and I don't see it in the pics. Is this something I left in there from before or does it go in the fuel bowl?

Bob's parts just got here. Got dr's appointment shortly so I can't finish until after that. Maybe that plastic piece is that plastic snubber the instructions speak of, don't recall taking that out. Is it suppose to fit tight in the hole? It's fairly loose.

I sort of, kind of mostly got it back together. Everything is sitting in place it's just mostly a matter of tightening things down, putting the 2 fuel pump bolts in, the 2 fuel bowl bolts in and that big nut on the back of the fuel pump. Just getting a little late and hungry. Finish in the morning. I got tied up on that a/c on that rv after the doc. Threw me behind. That a/c is being a fun job too. It's a central unit on a 40' diesel pusher. The fan motor went out and the fan blade came apart. At least I made it to the parts store to get what I need to finish that job tomorrow. Isn't alot of working room on that thing. Think I'll finish my truck in the morning first. Keep your fingers crossed.

What's the trick for that o-ring on the turbo? When I replaced the fuel pump a few months back I noticed it was cut and missing a piece. I ordered a new one from Ford and could had swore I had it in place when I put it in but no, it got cut too. Can you use some kind of form a gasket to hold it in place while you put it together? I'll order another one.

Use Vaseline to hold it in place

Think I know why my heater got disconnected. That button that goes in the side of the fuel bowl appears to be a thermostat also. There is no inside cover to mine and I could see a set of contacts. Thought it was a little odd there was no cover and I seen later in the pics that there is suppose to be one. Is there any chance it might start leaking because that cover is gone? Wonder where that cover went, I didn't find it.

I THINK all is ready. Can't think of anything else and don't see any leftover parts. Keep your fingers crossed. Alot of people say you can't feel 12 volts. Get your arm sweaty and lay it across the glow plug relay, ate me up. Think it'll help to change the spark plugs?

NOW I'm worried, STILL no pressure. What else could it be?

Let me ask you this. How important is that plastic snubber? The pic looks like it's got a cap on the end, mine doesn't. If this isn"t sealing would this affect pressure?

That's odd. Was going to try a BB, can't get the plunger out, seems stuck. Can't imagine why. Even took spring out and put cap back on hoping what little fuel pressure I've got would blow it loose, still stuck.

Finally got it out. There is a small tit on the side where it goes in the seat. Wonder if my seat is damaged is why can't get any pressure.

Got BB in. The pressure is still below 20psi, that's where the gauge starts, but I can tell there is more pressure squirting out around the gauge. I think my problem is the regulator and housing. Where can I get replacements?

Can the truck be driven with the pressure this low?

Hell fellers, y'all tell me what's up, I'm stumped. Took a chance and drove it to the store. Got on it hard, petal to the metal, hit about 3000r's. Ran great! Seemed to be better than before. Still little pressure.
