If it's an all day sat event, I'll make the drive to Raleigh for sure.
Tony, The Que goes on about 7-8 in the morning. Last time Bob and Marty made it over early and we sat around telling lies until about 3 when everyone else started showing up. When I smoke again, it'll be an all day event. It's way more fun tending the grill with a group then by myself. Plus, lunch gets done on the smoker as well. Last time I think we had brats and corn on the cob.
I tried something new, and brined one cut before we smoked it. I'll be doing that in the future from now on. I think it worked out well.

Just had my birthday dinner over at Charlies BBQ on 1010 in Cleveland community, great food, and its been a couple of years since I went to see Charlie. I'm fat & happy
for me this time of year, being in the chimney sweeping and gas log repair business, its hard to plan more than a week at a time as we get booked up for 30 plus days by then. Plus with the wacky weather again outside stuff if suspect. I was bummed to miss the bonfire for sure. I like the bring you own stuff to cook aspect as well..
Was supposed to be a free saturday yesterday and wound up working till 2 on stuff but make a nice chunk of change for my efforts..
This month is shot for me with family and friends events to attend thus far..
Merry Christmas to all the FTE brothers/sisters and Happy New Year..

I've been cooking a lot with T-day and with the rest of the holidays coming I'm sure I'll keep cooking.
So for some dates how's the 16, 18 or 28 or 29 look for people? The more the better.
Josh messaged me with a good idea. What if we could all get together, well as many as possible after I get Ka'Bluey here and take a group picture of us in the NC Chapter and I'll post it back home.
But I'm ready for a get together if we can all do it.

That sounds like a good idea! I know with the holidays people are busier than usual, but let me know if & when we have a plan so I can make arrangements to come eat.
Well today should be busy and go by faster.
|I need to get money orders to pay for Ka'Bluey's transportation. Possibly work on getting Tim's project car out of here so I can park Ka'Bluey here. And I need to come up with a spot to use to get Ka'Bluey unloaded.
If Ka'Bluey can't make it, we may swing by Bob's for a photo shoot with the truck. His crew gave the truck such a hearty send off, that I think we can spend some time and send a photo back.
Date\Time can change, if it doesn't work for you, just post up an alternate.
