Good Lord willin'
Excellent!

Lee just texted and said he was out. I'm meeting WP in Durham around 5. We should be rolling in there around 6:30 depending on traffic and such.

11:00pm and I just rolled into my driveway. Gentlemen I had a great time and the food was awesome. Good pick Tony. James look at it on the bright side. If we would have gotten pulled over we wouldn't have to worry about those pesky drivers license anymore. I don't think we fell under 85mph on I-40, and it was great. Looking forward to Sept. when we can all get together again. James, Matt, and Tony it was great seeing everyone and anyone else who checks in on this thread who missed it tonight, you missed out bigtime.

Indeed a good time seemed to be had by all. Really cool everyone makes the effort to show up and enjoy the food and company. I second WP in that those who have been looking at this thread and not showing up are missing out on a nice evening of food and gabbing about any number of subjects.

I'm pretty sure no one caused any trouble this time and everything went off without a hitch. Although I did get caught up in a heated "rafting" conversation and missed some parts. No telling what WP and Matt were cooking up.

Dang sure made some good time coming home. I had a hard time keeping up with Willie.

Can't wait till the next gathering.

We have two weeks to make it to this place for the August dinner.

Welcome to the Skylight Inn

Who is in and what day works best?

Also to mark on your calendar;
The September dinner will be in the triangle area. Tony is bringing his crew down from the hills. Date, time and location to be announced in the near future. This will be a good one to attend. Local for some and should be a good crowd of folks.

Y'all set the date, I'll see if I can manage it. Distance is an issue on this one, with my truck being like it is lol

Matt, save up your gas money for the September gathering. There will be lots more folks and won't be as far of a drive for you.

I have a feeling it will just be Willie and myself for the Ayden run as no one else has responded about the August dinner yet.

For others:
There is still time to get in on the August dinner in Ayden at the Skylight Inn. Some of the east's best bbq. A longstanding, local establishment, known for it's down home cooking and eastern style bbq. Going to be dang good and can't wait to go. I can smell it already.

James, Anyday after the 22nd works great for me for that is PAYDAY. Lol. Looking forward to this one. Skylight Inn has some awesome reviews in several different venues. My State Magazine rated them in the top 5 in N.C. Looking forward to any new faces who might be interested in showing up. Check your schedule and make it easy on yourself. I am ready to ride.
