If we go to Fayettenam I have a new friend down there that I can invite, he's active duty and has a 77 F150, just came up my way last week to buy some hubcaps off Craigslist.
There is a new Fuller's BBQ buffet place near me. I had never heard of it but my girlfriend was pretty excited about it, she said I'd leave there sick from eating too much, and it was some good southern food.
Ok cool, before I realized there was 2 locations I had told my friend the other one (113 N. EASTERN BLVD. FAYETTEVILLE NC)
So now I just messaged him to confirm that the correct address will be 7735 Raeford Rd, Fayetteville, NC 28304
Just a small turn out. Fullers was buffet style, bbq was bland but moist, right John? Fried chicken was good though. I unfortunately did not live up to my reputation and only had 3 plates with no dessert.
It it was good to see everyone that made it, and was able to drag a strong ‘maybe’ out of John for the bbq next month.
Had a chance to call Marty, he starting to sound like his old upbeat self. Hopefully we will get to see him next month.
I though the BBQ was good, it was little bland for Josh. At least it wasn't dry. I was thinking on the way home, the place with the tastiest BBQ that I can remember us eating was the one out west on I-85 I think, with a statue of a pig out front. Do y'all remember where I'm talking about? They had piles of wood out back and cooked them fresh over the fire daily.
You got a "maybe" cause I felt like I had something already and didn't want to commit. I remember now, car show in Four Oaks on April 21. Another one at the Strawberry Festival at 4042 on April 28. Cruise in April 7 in Clayton at Zaxbies. Another cruise on Sunday April 8 at a church in Benson (they feed us a free lunch for that one!). May 5 my car club is having a cookout get-together at Lake Benson park in Garner, then we got a car show at West Johnson HS on May 19, and another show May 26 out at Lake Wheeler. I swear every April & May are like this, and then in the fall every September & October are like this. Just about every single weekend. (Keep in mind on top of all this, I work weekends on the night shift).
*oh.. and the car show at the Kenly I-95 truck stop on May 12

I think that would be Lexington BBQ. Red slaw. Brick ovens in back with piles of wood. Had to hold Bob back from hitching the wood up to his truck.
But smiley's had a pig out front as well but I don't remember seeing the pits or wood. Smiley's was the place everyone honked when they pulled up. It also had the rabbit hole bathroom outside.
Glad yall enjoyed Fullers. Sorry I couldn't make it.
